Did any of you buy Applecare+ with your phone through Sprint? If you did, did you receive a boxed Applecare product or check your warranty coverage?

I ended up buying Applecare+ with mine, and the two years of coverage doesn't show on the apple website. I tried calling Sprint, and they've been absolutely useless.

I purchased Applecare+ on the day I called in to activate my phone. I got an email from Apple a day or two after. The email was an Applecare+ certificate with all my phone info and expirey date for the coverage.

I made the mistake of trusting best buy with my preorder, and the result? No phone, and no indication of when/if it will come. Of course, in good faith of receiving my 4s, I gave them the full amount, and now am subjected to a lengthy runaround to have the money refunded..

That is interesting my local Bestbuy only charged $50 for pre-order, why you've to pay full amount. I already spent that $50 gift card instead of waiting for those idiots to get their act together.

Dude asked me how much I wanted to put on the gift card, and I chose to put the entire 200 on it, and then would take care of tax when it came in. I honestly have no interest in buying anything other than the iPhone from them, so a gift card with a couple hundred bucks on it doesn't benefit me at all. At this point, I have no interest in even buying the iPhone from them.

I think I'm gonna swap out for a 64Gb - I mean why not lol.

Anyways we switched from AT&T and sprint service sucks major! If we weren't saving $70 a month on the bill I'd go back to AT&T. Our 4 lines unlimited everything is at $180 a month instead of $250. I guess we can only hope that next year the iPhone becomes LTE and Sprint's network is ready for it!

Goodbye Sprint! Just returned my two 4S iPhones. You can make an awesome phone call on Sprint but the data speeds were just too bad.

Went back to AT&T and bought a Samsung Galaxy S II because no iPhone 4S were in stock. I figured I could use the Galaxy for a month until I can get a iPhone 4S in my hands again.

I have had Sprint since 2K and just about everywhere the 3G speeds are terrible. Prior to the 4s I had an EVO 3D which had 4G capabilities and it got up to 10MPS, which to me was incredible. At the same location the 3G connection was about 350K. I am keeping Sprint, because I have accepted poor data speeds for a long time now and just about everywhere I go I can get a WiFi network.

My 64GB 4S went back to Sprint yesterday. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to leave AT&T. I'm grandfathered in with unlimited data, and a 23% discount as an IBM employee (which I never was - dude in the AT&T store hooked me up with it when I mentioned that I was distantly involved with IBM products, years ago). My Sprint experience was an unmitigated disaster. At home I'd get 1-3 bars switching between Sprint and "Extended" (Verizon roaming) towers, more often than not with a 1G data connection (the little circle symbol). Even when I got 3G, the download speeds were as horrendous as others are reporting. At the office, same story, though slightly worse - almost never a 3G signal in the building, and barely better outside with zero obstacles in any direction. This is smack in the middle of Tempe AZ, hardly in the boondocks.

I went back to AT&T yesterday and had my old 4 lit up again. They just reactivated my old account - discount still in place, unlimited data still in place, and $5 / 200 texts still in place. It's as if I never left. Ported my number back in minutes so no loss there either. I then went to the Sprint store and returned the 4S for a refund. Now I have to find a 4S someplace, will probably make an Apple reservation and pick one up at the store this week.

Moral of the story - if you're considering moving to Sprint, think twice. Maybe it's a better option in other cities, but here in Phoenix, they suck serious ass.

I pre-ordered the 64GB black model the first day BB was accepting them. Once launch day came and went with no phone available I ordered it the next day on Sprint.com (Saturday). I had it in my hands on Monday, amazing. I'm very happy with it.

Needless to say I canceled my Best Buy pre-order.

I'm surprised

Order my phone on the 21st of October and check on line for delivery and i'm supposed to get it today at 3 pm. Just hope everything is fine. This will be my first iPhone, can't wait to put it to use.

You ordered from Apple?

I ordered a 16 gb model this wknd from apple.com. Expected delivery is 11/4-14, but I hope it comes maybe a bit early...

I'm thinking this is happening to every sprint user who ordered applecare. I noticed the same thing. When I called sprint I got a very nice representative who put me on hold to speak to his supervisor. He basically let me know that they can't do anything on their end because apple is the one who provides the service and are the ones dictating it on all the carriers.

He gave me the number and I called but was on hold for 40 minutes. Eventually I gave in and submitted a scanned copy of my order invoice that arrived in my box with the iphone and sent an email to apple. It's been 2 days and nothing yet. Hopefully it'll get resolved.

What AppleCare+ does when it's added to the order, it will add the service to your Sprint account which will then be transmitted to Apple to update into their system that the warranty was indeed purchased and is active on the account. The service is added once you have activated your iPhone 4 or 4S. It won't show up with Apple until 24-48 hours *supposedly*. I have had a few customers that purchased the phone with AppleCare+ and it was not added when they activated the phone, but we can add the service and let you know it will take 24-48 hours for Apple to receive the information as it goes to them at the end of the night. The whole backorder thing for AppleCare+ has been resolved and will show as shipped I believe, but it is not a physical item, just a service.

Probably a little late for this, but just to get it out there for people to see. Don't flip out if Apple doesn't see it when you call, just ask a Sprint representative if they see it as a service on your account. :)

That's crazy. I lived in East Mesa for 2 years and left AT&T for Sprint cause I couldn't stay on a call. That was about 6 years ago so maybe things have changed and AT&T has upgraded their network in America's sandbox.

My data speeds have improved greatly. I broke 2.0 while running a speedtest at work.

my 3g is mediocre at best and for some odd reason, not sure if it's the defender case, but I have to be in the same room as my router for my wifi to be at it's full potential

Looks like there is no movement on Sprint i4s end, anyone got their pre-ordered i4s from Bestbuy ?
