Yikes- that doesn't sound good- I was counting on the 2 year contract deal on the X. How did Apple come up with their prices though if they aren't valid I wonder?

Did anyone have any luck preordering the 8 or 8+ with the 2 year contract price? Apple still shows the 2 year contracts as options through Sprint.
I hope this is all right honestly lol im depending on my iPhone forever plan & Gettin the X almost free lol think about it
 
9/15 shipping date here as well for 64gb 8 + !!!

It's inaccurate. I don't think their systems took into consideration that these were pre-orders. I think normally our devices would have shipped today with next day delivery but they obviously didn't because they won't ship till probably the 20th to arrive on the 22nd.

2 year contracts still exist for legacy users and business accounts. So they still have the option listed for those users. But it doesn't apply to everyone else.
 
Upgrading from a 7 to a 8+, went with the 64 Space Gray after much debating since I realized I've never had a black iPhone and the new Gold color looked too Rose to me. Decided the X wasn't worth the wait or the cash since the design isn't all that great and I'm not a fan of Face id.

Received confirmation email at 2:04am CT, received an email at 3:53am saying my order was pending and another email at 6:29am saying my order was processing and an estimating shipping date of 9/15.

I wonder how many calls Sprint will get saying "where's my iPhone" because Sprint put 9-15 as shipping dates.

Looks like the 8+ 256GB in Gold was in shorter supply or higher demand. If you ordered it after 6PM Today, the shipping date has been extended to 10-20
 
The Promo is for new and existing. But for Existing, it only applies the 1/2 deal for the regular 8. When I wasn't signed in and was choosing devices as a new customer, the 1/2 off applied to both devices with a trade in.

Checkd again around 6pm eastern time, it was showing the deal for all 4 versions now when signed into my account....

Signed in to my account on Sprint, I'm seeing a 150 deposit required for both the 8 & 8+ 256GB versions.
Guessing it will be the same for the 256GB X.

Have been a Sprint customer in good standing for 7 years and have not had to pay anything down for quite a while....
The upside is that the payments stay the same as the 64GB versions.....

Yeah same here. Called in and was able to put zero down when I normally have to put $100.00 down. iPhone 8 + 64gb
 
Managed to get a new 2 year contract so only $250 plus tax and $10 for shipping for a 64GB non-plus model. Right now I'm only seeing the contract deal for the 3 iPhone lines on the account and not for the 2 Android lines despite everyone being up for an upgrade.

I thought Sprint did away with contracts? I dont see that option on the site

Yeah like I said, I only see it for the 3 lines that currently have iPhone 6's on them, the other two lines with Android phones don't seem to have the deal. Not sure what causes it, but I sure wasn't going to pass it up.

According to the Sprint representative, the order is still active on their end despite seemingly being canceled on mine. Has this happened to any of you?

(Leave it to Sprint to mess my order up every year in some shape or form)

If your order was canceled, it would show canceled on order status. I canceled mine last year to re-order a different model that became available and it reflected on my order status immediately.

I’m aware of that since I also canceled my order last year too. However, this was the first time that my order status doesn’t show up for whatever reason and I didn’t cancel my order.

Same here; all I see now is "The number you entered doesn't match our records."

Status was pending as of a few hours ago.

Thank you for confirming that I'm not an isolated case. According to the representative, the order is still pending/processing on their part so I guess we shouldn't fret until tomorrow.

No problem! I got the same thing from the chat representative: "Mary Smith: It shows to me that the order was fully processed and the phones will be delivered starting with 20th of this month."

Yeah I still have a fully functioning 7+ so I suppose the apocalypse isn't here yet :D.

got refunded the shipping + tax on my orders too.
