Carrier Sprint iPhone X/8/7s Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

I am not 100% sure, but I believe a signature is required since the price of the device is over $500, and on top of that, is being shipped from a phone carrier, Sprint.

Yeah they will require signature. Worst case, pick it up from the store when you get back.
I was able to change mine on ups choice to stay at ups store. ( in delivery options )

They will require a signature, however you can choose to accept a shipment release and they will leave the package without a signature if you choose.

Nope, my UPS driver just left them at my front door but I think it's discretionary. If they feel that your package will be safe then I think they'll leave it.

As I'm a glutton for punishment, I did have a long chat Sunday, getting transferred around the entire office, trying to gleen some hope or useful information about the pending preorder and if they acknowledge the issues from last year and/or had any plans to do anything different.

Small glimmer of light from one rep said that this year they will have live chat/order specialists that can step in and assist should issues arise:

Take that, as any conversation with lower level CSR's with a grain of salt, also knowing that if they come online 3 hours late again, it's small consolation.

With the reports that the new OLED device I'm after (X/Edition) being delayed, looks like I'll have an extended wait for my new device again.

The Apple event is live in an hour, so we'll know more soon.

Looking forward to hearing from you all what your plan is, hearing all the great experiences and commiserating when things go south...

i finally got my email saying my phone been shipped i was hoping i would get it from att since i ordered from both but I'm happyy

Billing & shipping address must match... Theyll send to where account Billing address is no exceptions from apple
 
Your order is on its way. The shipping carrier website will display your shipment progress within a few hours. Please note that iPhone X pre-orders may not show shipment progress on the shipping carrier website until 11/2.

So this is my shipment status it’s saying I should get my phone Friday by the the end of that’s a good thing cause I’m off Friday

Got my case in the other day my phone arrives Friday but the glass protector doesn’t come til the 14th or 15th should I go protector less for a week or so or keep it in box til it comes?

Everyone relax. As long as it says shipping date is 11/3 that's all you need to worry about. Unless there is some severe weather conditions on it's path (which is any package at all that you order) you should be getting them. I'm getting anxious as we get closer to Friday, but everyone just stay calm.

Look like other carriers packages are moving, namely those being shipped by Fed Ex...hoping UPS gets moving soon..as of a few min ago my status is still waiting to be picked up by UPS. Oddly my delivery notice disappeared from my choice calendar, but the tracking number still says its on track for Nov 3rd
