It's pretty possible now that a 10" LED display 120GB flash drive ultraportable MacBook Pro might be released at WWDC. It will put these "waiting for an Apple ultraportable" threads to rest.

It says there are 76 posts so far so i guess I'll be the 77th to say...

FAKE

But funny anyway.

Must be Fake

programmable keyboard, flash drive, new size laptop?
i think it is too much at a time, how will this keyboard work with current tiger - this may be a reality with leopard but i doubt it now.
Also wouldn't a 120gb flash drive cost hundreds - on OCUK a 32gb solid state drive is over £300 inc. VAT.

this thing would cost way over a grand and it's only 10".

Photoshop says that this picture was taken by a Nokia 6233 phone. No other information is included.
This is most likely a fake image.

In my opinion...

this one is likely to have been cooked up by the macrumors staff... since there's really nothing going on right now.

And the biggest mistake is the 120 or 1 20 gig drive...

Wanted to add there is a certain well known image editors tag embedded in the file which helps seal the deal that this is a not so well done fake. And you could also get a nice raid setup of 15 8GB flash modules to make a super fas 120gb drive just for fun :-0.

Fake

10'' LED Widescreen... hmm - but it wouldn't be an LED, it would be TFT-LCD with LED backlighting, and from how apple talks about this for the MBP - it's almost a foot-note.

In addition to everything else mentioned previously...

How often does SJ use a 'standard features' slide - without the product name... Seems to me a list of the features would be one thing... but I would think (and let me tell you this is based on only my vague recollections of past keynotes - this is so obviously fake I'm not going to go watch an old keynote just to compare) he would not waste the real-estate on the 'heading' just hit the things that are truly features (as opposed to jokes... C2D a 'feature' to highlight - when he could be talking about ZFS...

64GB flash drive barely exist. 120GB is a fantasy and if by chance one did exist, it would make this thing more expensive than the 17". This is a fake.

Ohh! Ohh! ..look, Steve is in it...so it must be real!

120 GB SSD? Possible for 4Q 2007 but still expensive at this date. That mean for premium products.

10" LED wide screen? Samsung make a 10.6" wide screen. Sony uses LED backlite for is next UMPC. Moreovre, 10 inches Core2Duo subnotebooks already exist.

Programmable LCD keyboard? Already exist. Patented by some companies. Nothing new.

3G/HSPDA? That mean that thing is a subnotebook or a UMPC ;)

I think this spyshot is real. So, on Monday many of you guys should be ridiculous ;)

why would apple create a slide that looked like this. it would look nothing like any of the other ones.. cheesy.
They wouldn't. But I wonder if some roadies might've put up a nonsense slide like this while focussing the projector, just for kicks. And if anyone takes the bait and convinces a major publication to believe the "rumor", well that's just more fun.
I mean, seriously, this bears all the hallmarks of a test slide...
My feeling as well. Assuming it's not a fake.

Which is a big assumption. The stage doesn't look much like what I've seen of the Moscone Center stage - the picture was probably taken elsewhere. On the other hand, I don't know how much the stage's appearence changes after it is dressed and lit with the road-cases pur away.

Line 4: Might say "10 inch LED" or it might be "18 inch LED". Who would dare to call 10" widescreen?

I call your whole damn post FAKE... ;)

Widescreen has Nothing to do with the size, nothing at all. You can do a widescreen that is 4" or even 1" if you so please.
It's the proportions of the screen that counts.

It's pretty sad how fake this is. For kicks I replicated it in about 10 seconds using a default Keynote theme but don't really have the time to go put this up in an empty lecture hall on campus and go find someone with a Nokia 6233 to take a picture with.
