Look, its a fuzzy picture of Sasquatch!

Honestly...

I think I see Bigfoot on the left and he has mac backpack on and standing next to the alien guy from Roswell.

No seriously, though I can wait just 2 more days for the real stuff to be shown.

programmable keyboard, flash drive, new size laptop?
i think it is too much at a time, how will this keyboard work with current tiger - this may be a reality with leopard but i doubt it now.
Also wouldn't a 120gb flash drive cost hundreds - on OCUK a 32gb solid state drive is over £300 inc. VAT.

this thing would cost way over a grand and it's only 10".

Do you really expect that an Apple ultraportable would be less than 2 grand ? I think that all other manufacturers that offer ultraportables with SSDs price them at +2k. Especially with a small form factor, like you get with a 10" LCD.

So,
  • 120 GB Flash based Drive
  • Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 10" LED widescreen
  • Programmable LCD keyboard
  • .....

I'd say it's a touch-screen Mac. Or a Mac Tablet type thing.
What else would a 'Programmable LCD keyboard' mean?

There would be no way to do it cleanly or inexpensively. You would need a 64GB, a 32GB, a 16GB and an 8GB... four HDs... and a lot of space. It's not worth it to make it an even 120GB. At 128GB, you'd need two 64GBs or 1 mammoth 128GB drive (if they're even available).

Or you could just slip 15 8GB drives in there and ZFS them together for 120GB ...

As likely as anything else here!

This is what the stage should look like (with all the lighting in place) and I dunno I don't think the photo we're seeing matches up too well.. The quality sucks so bad its hard to tell... Oh and year the side looks like it ways done by a 3 year old (or a Windows user).

totally fake

dunno what people said before, but i dismissed it as fake for 2 big reasons:

1) 3G like that would be massively destructive to the iPhone, which doesn't have 3G
2) Apple delayed fricking Leopard because they, quote, took everyone working on Leopard and made them work on the iPhone. If you think that Apple really has anything major hardware-minded for WWDC, except for the iPhone, ure crazy IMHO.

120 GB SSD's dont exist yet. Similarly I doubt the iMac will get a HD/BR drive (unless it uses a desktop drive) as the parts aren't available, whether its Apple or anyone else.

Given Apple's style, I highly doubt they would create a slide with no background image, that is nothing more than a generic green font surronded by some boring green boxes. Lame.

Now, it could've been someone at Apple deciding to play a prank on all the rumor sites by creating a horribly cheap slide announcing a fanboy's wet-dream, and put it up for some sleuth to catch a pic of.

It's the WIDESCREEN IPOD with 10" screen

No seriously after all of this iPhone blah blah and hoopla I don't care... at least it is a real rumor and not some junk about that dag on iPhone.

We always get some sort of Photoshoped fake image every year. Why should this WWDC be any different? It's a nice try but, personally I think it's fake.

Somebody probably took a photo of the blank screen with his phone (Nokia phone data is in the image) and then brought it into Photoshop and had fun. Then erased the Photoshop meta data. It's not too hard :p :D I call fake. and yes I know my photoshop isn't the best, it was meant to make a point, not to be perfect

I don't think it says "120 GB Flash-based drive" I think it says " 1 20 GB Flash-Based Drive". It's a numerical notation of how many drives in the device there are. Maybe it's the "ultra-portable"?

:apple:

HA HA HA! Everyone here knows that's fake but all of us want it. let's face it, we don't know what's comming this time.

(it's better this way, last year the rumors make me wonder so much and when the real day came I was very dissapointed...):(
