My graphite is due for delivery this Tuesday.
Should have ordered it with the graphite Milanese loop. It matches beautifully.
That said I ordered it with the blue braided loop which I would probably use more often

I got a SS Graphite and SB titanium and Regular Titanium sitting here in front of me... the titanium looks so boring in comparison. 4 family members voted in favor of Graphite. One voted for Regular Ti. I’ve been wearing SS since Series 0.

I am so damn torn and confused!!
Titanium is more durable though and it’s real brushed metal. most You can do is change the bands around.

This combo looks pretty good to me. So exotic it’s like owning a Maserati or Bentley. Lol

Stick with the popular vote. Definitely return the SB Ti. The titanium is nice too but much more casual than the elegant Graphite SS

Both my Graphite and SB Ti have shipped so I can't cancel the order now but I'll return the SB Ti straight away

From now it’s clear that the new Graphite stainless steel Apple Watch is lighter than the previous Space Black one. I would say it’s more like a “Space Gray” Watch. Differences are subtle but still noticeable, particularly at certain light conditions. As a user of sport bands, for me both versions are great and deliver nice combinations, but I can understand the Graphite version results in a minor aesthetic problem for those having the expensive space black Link Bracelet. Perhaps Apple will update the bracelet, which is still available in 42 mm, to a Graphite version in 44 mm. Moreover I am still curious to know if the Hermes version is indeed more black.

It is more durable but steel is harder and more scratch resistant. On a dlc watch it makes no difference esp with a watch your not going to keep for 20 years. Grade 5 ti is pretty tough but I don’t think Apple uses that. It’s just a novelty in this regards. That why I decided to go with what looks nicer for this next year. Will consider something different again in sept. Too bad ti has horrible resale value. Black ceramic would be sweet but a waste on a temporary watch.

I sure hope its not lighter. I dont want to wear a toy. I want the heft of SS if I buy SS.

I thought Titanium is brittle. I expected its not pure Ti to give me more strength. Titanium is usually favored for its strength to weight ratio. I prefer the heft of SS and feel like Aluminum & Titanium are more like toys.

I was looking to upgrade from a SBSS series 2. I still like the seamless blend of screen to case. I'm thinking I may go for a refurbished Series 5.

It’s most likely grade 2. Softer but stronger than ss but in this case makes no difference. Yes full ti watches with ti bands do feel light to wear but feel toyish

Ti is softer than stainless steels. Metal alloys are stronger than most common pure metals. The benefit of Ti over steel is weight reduction since it has lower density.

I had ordered a Graphite SS and since it’d be a while before receiving it, I thought I’d go see it in person. I was disappointed. It’s definitely not black and with the oils that it collects, it almost looked green. It’s a serious print magnet. I asked to compare with the silver stainless steel. I immediately loved that one and purchased it on the spot.

Rocking a Tim Cook original look stainless steel with white sport band.

Don’t take my word for it — some people like the graphite — but maybe heed my caution to go see it in person and decide then.

I’ve never wanted a Milanese Loop until now. The graphite screams for something upscale. I ordered the black braided loop but for the price, I’m not sure if the ML is the better choice. Decisions, decisions....
