I think he was talking about the regular SS link when they started shipping.

True...but then in his next sentence he mentions about Australia not even getting a single Space Black[i/] unit at all.

Either way, I'm excited for it to arrive, but confident that when it does arrive I will be saying "Hey guys, it was worth the wait and wish everyone to feel the same.

Yeah. Then again. AU have 06 that are shipped. I'm sitting in America with 05 and processing. Lol

I'm sure it will be worth it! Space Black or no watch!

Wow...back on page on Page 159:

U.S. Space Black orders are into the 30-minute mark of orders? I guess my order at xx:10:31 and no change from Processing for a delivery of June. Perhaps I should be the one really upset? LMAO This thread is so full of people whining about not getting their order is bad enough, but then to use false realities is just ridiculous. I haven't seen a single person prove, let alone even claim, that they received an order for a Space Black that was ordered 30 minutes after launch.

I know we all paid a premium for this model, but there are a incredible amount of factors that would delay the shipments for the Space Black model. Even if its not a production issue, it wouldn't surprise me if the decision to produce and assemble the lower cost Space Grey Sport models with higher priority due to making the decision to satisfy the greater volume of customers purchasing these compared to Space Black models. Easier to deal with a few than with a majority.

Besides, this makes our Space Black model that much more desirable and rare.

HURRY UP & WAIT!

I think you need to read what I said again...SS Link Bracelet watches is what I said....NOT Space Black Links! Before you go off on a rant you might want to ensure you have read people's posts correctly!!

I don't understand going back 50 pages to dredge **** up, to start with.

When the SBSS's first started to ship, all of the shipments were in the US. I don't think there were any non-US shipments until the 3rd batch of shipments.

And, yeah, the SS LB's started shipping sooner and were well on their way. Hell, we're just up the 08 mark now (and I still think there's some outstanding 05's). I know there's 06's yet to ship and we haven't seen any 07's.

Pretty sure that is the silver SS LB, not the Space Black.. I havent seen any orders later than xx:06 shipping in any location for the SB 42's..

I heard the most common flight carrying apple products is flight # UPS77. I think the DLC process or other processes which is unique to our watch is the reason causing all this delay, as all the other watches now ship 4-6 weeks except for our model.

Arrives there in an hour from now. Let's hope we see some movement!

Getting so anxious. I'm an :05 order that got billed last night, then went to PFS a couple hours later. I've been stuck there for the past 15 hours or so and am not sure it's gonna ship today so I can receive it tomorrow.

Did we get firm confirmation that watches don't deliver on Saturday? If so, that means no Saturday and no Monday because of the holiday. It's gonna be torture knowing it's shipping and won't get here until Tuesday if that's the case.

I contacted Apple store support today again. So it turns out my confirmed order went in at Xx:05:23. Email at Xx:05:27. Last time I spoke to Apple support they guy neglected to state the hours wasn't being told. He said " You placed your Apple Watch order on 4/10 at 5:23. " what he should of told me was Xx:05:23. I was ****ing livid, when I heard him say that( thinking it was 5:23 am). But all is cleared up now. Still no movement on my end. Still waiting to be charged. Xx:05:23 est new jersey.

Yep, no Saturday deliveries. (Apple would have to pay UPS extra $ for that).

The only exception we saw to that was when UPS messed up on deliveries for launch day - there were a few deliveries on the 25th.

The latest is an 08 from the UK (but there are 06's that haven't moved yet, possibly 05's as well). No 07's reported yet.

My credit card has had a pending charge applied:

UK - XX:10 with June delivery for 42mm Space Black SS with SSB

The order status hasn't changed from June :)

It's a good start - fingers crossed :)

From my Apple chat person yesterday, FWIW:

Q: Do you happen to know if Saturday delivery is possible, or is it only Mon-Fri?
A: Saturday delivery is possible, typically it is by business day though.

----------

It still has to sit in customs for at least 24 hours( I'm assuming) before it is passed on to Louisville.

Wouldn't that mean then there is always a running 24 hour delay? i.e. yesterday's arrival would be hitting its 24 hour mark in an hour.

Wow! We're up to :10! (outside of the US).

Actually, I don't think any of the 06's were in the US, where they? I think one was UK, one was Aus and one was Canadian. Then we had the 08 in the UK.

UK's having movement at the moment. Maybe we'll start to see some for the other countries shortly. :)

Oh, and the customs thing. Apple and UPS will have a team of brokers in Anchorage to make sure the planes are on the ground as short a time as possible. I'd be surprised if it was more than a few hours (their biggest concern - looking for illegal shipments and stow-aways).

NO NO, HE IS RIGHT. I am just joking. did you get your watch yet?

Yes mate, watch arrived today at about 4:45pm (just over 4 hours ago) and it is AWESOME! No really, it is!

When I saw the really black looking pics I was having 2nd thoughts, but it is 110% the best watch. How it looks definitely depends on the lighting, but outside during the day it is not pitch black, nor is it gunmetal, somewhere in the middle and has just the right amount of shine to it.

No joke, pictures to not do this thing justice. It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of kit and worth every penny. Trust me, you'll love it!

Not had much chance to play with it and get used to the features, but even as just a watch and nothing more it is worth it. The additional features are just that cherry on top. ;)

My apologies for blending two statements together. This thread is deep into +5,000 posts, so I'll admit I was too lazy to dig very deep to find the specific context.

Oops! LOL

Everyone's MMV, but when my wife's SS with ML was to be delivered on the 24th, there was a chance no one would be home. So, we called UPS to see if they could find out exactly where the driver was so that we could figure out to wait or not.

Ha ha..of course they wouldn't do that, but the lady did tell me that because it was shipped Next Day Air (even Next Day Air Saver), that a Saturday attempt is part of that package when the original delivery date is a Friday.

We did leave our house and the UPS driver was coming down the street so we turned around and received the watch, but I feel confident, we would have received a Saturday Delivery attempt.

My watch is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and it is also Next Day Air but someone will be home so it's not an issue..but for those that may have issues tomorrow, there is a chance it could get a delivery attempt on Saturday.

Just put my order in for the 42mm SBSS! It just says July for shipping date now. The wait begins.
