When do you charged?

Hey guys,

Silent reader of the thread here, XX:08(don't know seconds sorry) Orange County 42mm "June" and I was wondering if you get charged and switched to PFS when it gets to anchorage or the sorting facilities in Louisville/Ontario.

brief OT: I've been interested in what the size of the shipping SBSS 42mm band really is. I was about to start calculating it based on a few images, but I find something interesting: the Apple gallery images show the band as having 10 links per side (not including the attachment link), but your's shows 12. If you didn't add any links (which it doesn't look like you have), then they are shipping more links than they show.

While I'm at it...if you have a sec or two, could you unlink the band (leaving the clasp closed) and measure the length? I'm at 203mm, which from what I've read from other posts should be fine, but I have to obsess about something during the wait. ;) Thanks! ⌚️

Sorry to tell you, the range of the bands is posted on the Apple Store site. :)

The 42mm is 140mm-205mm.

I have the same size wrist (8" / 203mm) - but I don't have my watch yet.

Well I'm waiting on my band to be delivered so I'll know more on when it was actually updated to ship. I believe the c.c are charged at Louisville then flown out to your state. I also believe they also sit 24 hours in Alaska at the U.S. Customs. Before getting flown inland.

Apple sent me two emails telling me my gfs watch is shipping in 2-3 weeks. Like I don't know that her July estimate is going to ship before my June estimate already. -.- so much salt.

Thanks. I'm aware of the spec., but based on some of the early posts on the SS link band, with similar or slightly larger wrists indicated they "run large". In other words, the "205mm max" seems to allow for a bit of adjustment (probably one link worth).

Also, as I noted, there's a descrepancy between the gallery and the new owner pics. Either the links are smaller in the shipping watches (very doubtful), the band is actually larger than what is shown in the gallery image (could be), or (just thought of this) the gallery image had links removed because it "showed" better.

No, I did a try-on in the store and it fit absolutely perfect. :) Now if it'd only ship. :)

Looks nice. I might end up getting that for an alternate. I did have the leather loop week before last, but sent it back mostly because I didn't like the fit (tried it on my wife's Sport). Also, the texturing didn't really seem to go with the case (saw a few pics here and there). My wife has the green SB and loves the feel. I have another watch with a silicone band and it's very comfortable, though I think the SB has a nicer feel.

Good news indeed! I did lots of measurments of other watches I have and how they fit, and the numbers seem to indicate the Space Black band will be a perfect fit too (well, as perfect as one can get with fixed adjustments - I expect loose and tight times the same as my other link bracelets).
