I remember reading somewhere that it covers the band it shipped with.

Edit: I sent a text to my friend at an Apple Store. Sometimes have to wait until his break, which could be some seemingly random time in the future, but I'll hear back within a few hours.
Edit 2: got an answer back and he said yes, plus he believes it covers other accessories ordered at the same time.
You can always start a chat with Apple from your order page.
And, to stay on topic...tracking not showing arrival at PANC yet (it's a bit to soon after landing).

Dont know about Sikh, but I dont have mychoice.
Regular tracking still says Monday though. Shame it missed that flight thats already made it to the US, since mine (and presumably Sikh's) started off in the same batch in China.

Didn't you say you ordered your watch as an employee and than quit?
The reason you are not getting emails is that when you order from the employee store it defaults to your work email address, even if you enter a new email address while you are purchasing it.

edit: even if you edit it after the fact from order details page you still don't get. Text updates are the only thing out side of an @apple.com email address that you get.

I'm the stupid guy who ordered his on the 28th of April thinking I could escape this product that seems so useless... thinking I would be able to wait for one that has at least a GPS for when I bike!! but no I couldn't resist this beautiful jewel! And now I get to wait 3 months for its arrival!
Two days ago, I was updated to the 5 to 6 weeks shipping window, delivery planned for July 10-17th
I'm reading this thread and it seems most people have that window, even if they ordered much earlier. Could this mean Apple is only planning to produce more of our model at the end of June or are they shipping regularly? Either it sucks, we were crazy enough to pay 1k (1.5k for us in Canada ) so we should have priority!

they definitely have priorities. that much is clear. having said that, stores will start carrying inventory starting monday, confirmed from apple live support. just stay on top of it, best case scenario sports will be in some limited supply in stores and you'll be able to pick on up much before you estimated DOD and u can then cancel your online order. but i'm sure a lot of people will try to do this so expect to que up at some point in the near future

I kicked off a thread for this (the mod's wouldn't make it a sticky, as they felt we had too many).
AC+ will cover your watch and any band that it attached to your watch at time of damage. It doesn't matter if the band came in the original box or not.
If you destroy both in one shot, both are covered in a single incident (had a bun fight with a "supposed apple employee" about that one).
We were not able to get Legal to change the T's and C's of the AC+ agreement to explicitly state this (I told them it's ambiguous) Lawyers like ambiguity - it gives them "wiggle room". *sigh*
Oh...and water damage. Don't shower with it. Don't swim with it. It says that in the user's guide, but people are taking the employee leak of "Tim said he showers with it" as some sort of extension of the Apple warranty. Don't do it!

Actually, we've seen UPS change their patterns. They're shipping US western states and Canadian provinces out of Ontario, California of late. So, we could see one of those planes headed for KONT, the other headed for KSDF (Louisville).
Should know soon. Both are in the air now (UPS 81 and UPS 99). The latter is about 15 min later. I just checked and now have departure at 3:58 AKDT, which is 5 min before UPS 99 departed for KONT. You might be right! We'll see around 10PM PDT.

I haven't seen any activity on the Canadian thread - so hard to say how many were in the batch with Chulan (or how far in the clock they got).

Yeah mine still says delayed. I posted the SS last page.. I really hope its in the states tomorrow, i dont want to wait till tuesday just cause the "inspector" decided to leave our palette / cargo for the night.
btw mychoice is free. Both mychoice and regular tracking show the same thing and say "not schedule delivery information available". It just reminds me I asked for a hold.
