Ran into a issue now lol. I start work at 5pm tmrw, if the driver isn't here before 5, the next available pickup or delivery attempt is Monday. I tried to put in hold at the UPS store but they said that will be only possible after 1st attempt to delivery. Therefore, my options are to call in sick at work or be really lucky to get it before 5pm.
I wouldn't worry about it. Given that many of us may have waited 3 months from order to receipt, I really don't see Apple scrimping on the shipping.

Would be true if you're both in the same country, but you're not. @nickbabenko is in the UK (per his profile). Every country has their own SKU due to language as well as warranty agreements, and Apple ships these in batches. This is why orders tend to "leap frog" from one country to another as we move around the clock.Apple's trying to keep them in order, but, from a logistics standpoint, they still have to ship in localized batches.

What you say makes sense and I've noticed the "leap frogging" over the last few weeks. This seems to be a much bigger jump, however. Besides, it's fun to speculate!
Actually, that's the shape of things to come. Eventually we won't see minutes or hours of progress, but days of backorders catching up with each wave of charges as the order density diminishes.
The sooner everyone wraps they're head around that, the better - no point in getting upset about it...it's just the way it's going to play out.

Not a friend if you can't trust them to pick up a package for you. I would trust any of my friends to house sit for a package while I'm at work
I find UPS delivers pretty late in the evening for Apple. iPad launch at nearly 9pm. In Ottawa, I find they push residential deliveries later into the day even for by 12PM shipments. Otherwise it ends up at the UPS Customer Centre.

It's been a week since any real movement, is anyone else a bit skeptical they are going to hit those dates they just revised to? I know I have a while till July 7th-14th to get caught up.
Begin Rant:
I felt like there should be at least a shipment once a week, if they don't I am very disappointed in Apple. If they are not sending out at least one big shipment a week, what the hell are they doing? The stainless steel link bracelet is caught up to almost May now. I'm sorry but there is no way its that difficult for them to put DLC on the watch. I know the link bracelet takes 9 hours to make, I don't think that could be the problem at this point. If they can be caught up enough to start shipping them to stores in 2 weeks, it seems that they should take some of the lines down and produce our watches first. I'm very frustrated they have caught up on every single watch but ours, and we spent the most on ours. It's hard to see watches slip to July on all 42's and they catch up to 2-3 weeks in a matter of days. I feel like they are not trying as hard as they say they are to finish our watches.
