Yep, but we see charges all around the clock. With MacLilja getting charged, we at least know that this wave of charges will go that far. It's a good "heads up" for the others. We have seen that. We saw it just earlier for Australia - the 22nd order was at least a couple hours ahead of the 15th order. I think it's the different banks. Apple batching charges. That's one possibility. Maybe one day we could get someone at Apple to tell us how they really sort this **** out. 🙂

Heh. It didn't SEEM like that much. We had some :06 charges and some :04 people going WTF?! UNFAIR!!! Torches! 🙂 It's the same thing, only it's days/weeks now. If anything, you can say that's been consistent, people chirping up with charges that aren't the latest. Two steps forward, one step back.
All of you will be getting charged this week...or Apple's really messed up. (Me, I'd bet on the former) 🙂

Yeah, I don't mean any offense at all MacLilja, but would you mind posting a screenshot of the charge? I'm sure you understand how worked up we all are about progress here. Don't want to get our hopes up for nothing 😛

No offense. I can't send you a screenshot though. The reason for that is that the order is placed by a friend of mine in the US. I live in Sweden myself so he has ordered it for me. So, I can't give out his info since I don't have access to his cc charges.

He told me that the cc was actually charged yesterday (June 15) so I'm a bit worried that the status hasn't been updated yet...

He did also tell me that he changed the delivery address for the Watch yesterday as well (for his summerplace) but that shouldn't cause Apple to charge him a month in advance should it?
 
I'm sure it's been answered before but I can't seem to find it, if my status has changed to 'preparing to ship' realistically when can I expect to see it?

I apologise in advance if this has been covered before.

Judging by my wife's experience and spare band orders previously received, I would say from as little as three days to a week

+1 There's no "hard and fast rule" There's real-world delays that are encountered as well (customs delays in China, mechanical failures and severe weather have all been seen over the last month).

If I remember correctly weren't there apple care charges and canceled from time to time on some orders at the beginning of this thread? Apple just checking to make sure the card was good? They were all false alarms. Could this be one of those?

They charged the amount for the watch.

See, that is a problem, as all of us from the batch yesterday have been shipped.

Not to worry you, but I really hope you know this person really well....and that they're not scamming you.

No worry I trust him totally. I'm more worried that the charged the cc because he changed the address and not because the are ready to ship my watch. Thought on that? Have anylne else changed their address?

It may just have been the pre-auth charge, to make sure that the real charge will go through (as the address changed).

Have him call his CC company and verify if it was a pre-authorization or an actual charge.

Edit: Yeah, I'm about 99% confident that's what it is. He changed the address, then they did the pre-auth to make sure the card would work. This is also why you're still "processing".

So graphene is still the latest in the US - +8:15 and JumpVorginia is today's winner with a jump of 12 days for Aus. PSACL took Germany to +2:26.

And those are the highlights for today.

They took the founds out of his account and that sounds like an actual charge to me 🙂

Well that's disappointing. Although honestly, it did seem a bit too good to be true anyway that USA orders would suddenly jump 12 days forward 🙁
 
Ugh I feel so close yet so far. I'm sad that it seems like the window to hopefully receive the watch this week is slipping away... There is still hope if shipped by tomorrow

Just changed to Preparing for Dispatch and been charged!

Looks like UK just hit Day 2 of orders!

I almost can't believe that after all this time it's almost here
 
I'm guessing the status changes to 'shipped' once arrived in the destination country?

Is it possible to gain a tracking number (I'm sure this is not possible until the status has ticked over to shipped) to gauge some sort of delivery window?

I'm on the home straight now, I would love this before cob on Friday but I think it will be a long shot.
