I'm guessing the status changes to 'shipped' once arrived in the destination country?

Is it possible to gain a tracking number (I'm sure this is not possible until the status has ticked over to shipped) to gauge some sort of delivery window?

I'm on the home straight now, I would love this before cob on Friday but I think it will be a long shot.

Ok, you and JumpVorginia - both being from Aus are going to be on the same plane - as you both got charged today. The two of you should change status about the same time.

Your status changes to shipped when the watches are loaded on the plane (or just before). We don't have anyone on the ground in China to confirm that for us. 🙂 (whether it's before or after the skid is put on the plane).

I noticed two reference numbers in mine today that you could try.

1) Your phone number including area code (that you have registered on the Apple store site for your order)
2) Your order number (with the last two digits removed)

Try using either of those in the reference field on the UPS tracking page (also need to fill in target country). Maybe that will get you your tracking number sooner.

I am sure mine changed to shipped as it was leaving China. (US order) This was on 6/8. Tracked to the flights, (it was on the one that had to go back to Shanghai and delayed a day) Shipment notification as it was leaving Suzhou

I called apple while our flight was still in China to change delivery address. I hope it doesn't delay anything but apple rep said they still need to attempt once at original destination so I'll more likely get it Thursday. :/

Hehe yep 22nd is Monday 😉 - my tracking is now showing location as "PV1" which looks like factory in China, after searching other forums. They should go from there to Pudong International then on to us here, most likely via Hong Kong.

Yeah, a shame Canadian Customs isn't 24/7 like the US Customs folks in Anchorage. They won't start to process until 8am. That's built into our shipping estimates though.

Good to see Honk Kong taking the lead back today (they were the first to jump to over a day), now they're the first May order to be charged.
