Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

The part that really pisses me off is it SAT in china for 25 hours... If they had moved it on, it would have been a Thursday delivery and probably avoided the damn weather!!

Anyone have any luck getting UPS to let me come get it once it gets local since its Friday...
 
@slvrscoobie, did Apple give you today as a delivery date? UPS typically only does that if they messed up and would be missing Apple's date, not one that they gave you before, sorry. :(

You need to check the hours at your local hub - some people have suggested actually going in if you can beforehand - as the numbers for them aren't listed online. Often they have more hours that they'll allow pick-ups than what's posted online.

@funjon US customs works extended hours at the UPS major distribution points - I don't know if it's 24 hours, but it seems like we've seen import scans around the clock.

It really depends on who you talk to at UPS. Wouldn't hurt if you had UPS MyChoice, as you can specify that there and they won't even put it on the truck for delivery but hold it. Some insist a first delivery attempt is required.

If you want it held at the hub, you should be making the call asap to try to get it changed. If it's already there, it's likely too late.

Mine is still in Louisville, it hasn't even cleared customs yet.

I am a MyChoice customer, I'll give them a call in the morning (after I've slept) and see if I can arrange to have it held in Sunnyvale when it gets here.
 
@areeb2930 Looks like the slim chance of you getting yours today evaporated - it was likely not going to happen anyways unless you're in Toronto. They better not cancel that flight or you'll be waiting until at least Tuesday for delivery (no flight on Mondays).

Shipped. When I went to sleep at midnight, it was still at processing. Was charged at 1:39 AM Eastern and when I woke up it was shipped with a UPS departure scan from Suzhou, China at 6:54 PM "local time". PFS probably showed between midnight ant 7:00 AM Eastern.

Wow! That's amazingly quick! :)

I wonder if we'll have any later orders report in as the country wakes up this morning. :)
 
Aaaaaaand I got it!!! This thing's amazing!! Had a Space grey sport to hold me over.....doesn't compare. Space black is sooooo much more awesome!!! Good luck to all waiting and thanks for everyone's input.....now I have to find something else to check on 75 times a day
 
Well UPS told me it would be delivered by friday EOD so..
I know that 'weather' isnt a UPS problem so that just pass the buck. Which sucks because im sure 50% of the delays are weather and they dont have any incentive to do more than just delay everything since they have a cop out, plus anything that isnt weather probably just gets logged as such anywho. because, how can you argue.
2 months, and it gets delayed over a weekend by a lousy storm.
Im still hoping that since the last update was 4:05am and they wont give me a delivery date/time it might still have made it out this AM and make it out for delivery today. Not holding out hope though. Probably wait for it to get to the local office and make a visit..

Well, they just bumped the 4:33am flight to Ontario, Canada out to 10:27am to give you an idea of the weather conditions at Louisville. Hope you have better luck with your next hop!! :(

This has been the journey for my watch ! It is stuck in Louisville at the moment as far as I knoe because at the moment ups is saying "no information available" on my shipment. I'm not sure if my shipment will be getting to Canada today or not. I'm from Brampton Ontario so it's not far from toronto at all ! But fingers crossed although I don't think I will get it until Tuesday or even wednesday :(

no movement since 4am. Weather looks like it cleared up around 6am. What gives UPS? Lets get a move on here.
Probably no luck even getting it to NJ before today though.

I have not had the import scan though. maybe your close enough to KY that they think they can still do it (or youll be disappointed even more later lol)

Same here! I'm glad they did something about it. Really had me down that I wasn't getting it in today:(

Nice! well I wont be here saturday after like 10am so I wonder if they will be here early or late. Ill have to sign for it on the orders page so i dont need to be here.
