So please do not post it here! We care about changes, not about "nothing changed".
Something did change, the spare band I ordered for my SS Space Black dispatched
It's better than listening to people moan. If we only had posts about the order status changing this thread would have zero posts.
It would be so cool if only changes would be posted here, or at least only relevant information. Then you could subscribe to the thread via eMail as an example.

Will be fun to see the different colors on my wrist with a paper watch face!! LOL

People who ordered within the first five minutes got May 13 - May 27... Luckily I got in just before it switched to June.
Debating whether I should order a Sport Band in addition to my Black Link and Blue Loop... the Black and White would both look great... Or I could wait for new colors like a kickass orange... Hmmmmm

My reasoning is that the Link Bracelets just started finishing up yesterday and were shipped out to those who ordered the bracelet, so I am assuming it will take roughly an additional three days to be shipped to where the Watches are built, coated with DLC, assembled, packaged and shipped.
I bought green and black sport bands. I'm resolved to wait and see if Apple releases new colors/and or bands before I buy anything else.
The green will be a nice contrast! I don't quite understand why they don't release all the colors Jony Ive showed off at that event. If they're capable of producing them they should give us the option to buy them, in my opinion. Time will tell!
I'm a big fan of longboarding so a Sports band would be ideal for that. But then if I fell I'd be screwed.
I bought the blue leather loop and black sports band as well. kinda wish i bought the white one, but might hold out in hopes apple brings out a product red one soon.
Just a thought here... perhaps the space black watches are like the original iPhone 5's that were "black and slate". I seem to recall it somewhere saying something like "no two are alike," causing variations in coloring, which caused them to switch to the space grey coloring of the 5S. Perhaps the links are just now being shipped out as you've said, and the watches themselves don't receive the DLC until after they have a link bracelet to go with them, allowing for a perfect color match...
I agree. At the risk of diverting this further into a sport band discussion, I would much rather have the Navy Blue. I think it will go better with the space black. How long until you think they become available? I've got a feeling we'll be waiting at least six months.
Confirmation email is at XX:05 but I can't view the seconds in OS X Mail it seems. 4-6 weeks. For what it's worth I accidentally double ordered and the one I ordered at XX:06 had a June shipping date, so I know it switched somewhere in those precious seconds. Here's to hoping yours will come sooner!

Interesting theory! This level of detail in the coloring would explain why so few were available at launch and also at the retail stores for try on.

I'm figuring since I already have a black band and a blue band the white would make the most sense. Oooohhhh red would be so pretty - a stunning combination I'd imagine, and it would match my Space Grey iPhone 6+ with Product RED case.
I tend to disagree. PVD DLC is a mature process. Apple probably has their own exact formula and thickness specs, but otherwise, seems to be a well understood technology.
But, who knows... Engineering is full of surprises when going from design to the real world.
Here's hoping for early shipment, though. Apple still is stating the possibility of earlier ship dates (I chatted with them yesterday about possible changes to the 14 day return policy regarding bands since it's looking very likely I'll have the Leather Loop long before the projected "June" ship date for the 42mm SS SB I ordered. Short and long answer is no. They suggest a try-on during the return window. Makes sense... �� ).
