Each to his own but I for one will not be wrapping my watch in anything (and this is coming from someone who has his phone in a case and has a glass screen protector on it) I figure that the screen is sapphire (next hardest to diamond) and the case is D(iamond)LC so
IMO I can't see the point in covering it in anything that will hide its true beauty, we are already paying a premium for the ultimate/best protection out there., but it's only my opinion.

Heh. That's the problem with text. Sometime we need a sarcasm font. :)

Me, I'm really not crazy about the gold. The rose gold is nice, but a little feminine. Me, I think white gold would be nice, but it would also look very similar to titanium or SS.

To each there own - saw this watch and said "Ooh, the watch Vader would wear - gotta have it!" :)

Both of my vehicles are black. Have to wash them all of the time, but nothing looks sexier than black.

Nothing sexier than evil. The original black. :)

Your statement let us know how little you need to be judgmental.

The otter box does not exists and if is fashion we are going to talk about then I would keep one of my other watches on my wrist . But this is not only fashion , is it? is about technology, connectivity etc.

btw...on the SS w LB thread, one of the guys from Ontario (Canada) posted his tracking - our orders are coming from China (which I suspect the Space Black will as well, as there's no accessory orders for our bands).

Edit: Scratch that - the guy just clarified his orders only a band (so wtf is he posting his tracking info?!) *sigh*

This morning I woke up to a charge for my gf's 38mm space grey. At first I was like "hold on I have to wipe my eyes and look again, is that my space black!?" and then realized it wasn't.

The reason I'm mentioning the space grey in this thread is because it shipped a week before the window its suppose to ship in. I know its a 38mm and those versions for most watches are shipping faster because of less demand, but still Im happy its shipping early and I hope its a sign. I was given 3-5 weeks about 2 weeks ago and it said "may 21 - jun 4th" and today I get a charge!

I hope the space blacks ship for everyone who ordered in the first 10 minutes regardless of may or june window. I ordered at :05, got a confirm at :07 and was in the june window. I hope everyone in the May window starts getting charged by the end of this week. If not, I hope the extra time that its taken is because of the meticulous QC of our watches and because they are hopefully making enough to cover all early orders. I see the SS Link as already shipped for the people who ordered in the first 30 minutes and I hope the same happens for us.

Im in this wait with you guys! As far as the color goes, I picked this watch because it was black on black on black. I want a completely black watch.While a gunmetal one would look nice, a pure black watch that just "sinks into the abyss" or is truly stealthy is what I want and why I picked this watch.

A little off subject but has anyone noticed or seen the article here:

It seems that they changed the Space Black to a darker Space Black. I really like the darker and hope that all of the watches end up this way. Does anyone know why Apple did this?

I really really hope that today is the day all of us SS SB LB get charged and shipped! It really sucks watching everyone else except us get charged and shipped!

Looks good to me, I like a dark watch. The silver of the regular link was just too much in my opinion but I know others like that look.

And yes, I'm checking my order page constantly in the hopes that they ship out today. I'm an :05 order, so relatively close to the go-live of preorders. Really hoping mine ships today and arrives tomorrow.

SS Links were charged around 12:30pm CST yesterday. Really hoping in 3 hours this thread blows up with "Charged!!!" posts.
