Good morning everyone - long time reader, first time poster.

Just wanted to post some updates: I ordered a 42mm SBSS link at xx:02 and my status has changed to "preparing for shipment" and my cc has been charged.

That being said, the main reason I'm posting to is give some info I received yesterday. I happened to be chatting with an Apple rep inquiring about AppleCare+ and shipment of my watch. He specifically said that since I was within the first 3 minutes I would be in the opening salvo of shipments. So for everyone that is waiting for their xx:03 order to be charged…hopefully should be soon for you guys!!!

Guys I'm with Santander how do I know if the card has been declined or what ever?

What I would do to avoid any decline and delay is to preemptively call your CC company and let them know to expect a charge from Apple for your amount.

In the UK 8:03 confirmation still nothing really taking the p**s that if people who have confirmation after me are getting notifications

Everyone needs to remember that banks update their records at different speeds. Some can take hours to show a new charge on your card so do not give up hope.

Absolutely true........ my wife received her watch on 24.4 and didn't see a charge until a few days later. At no point did she even see any pending transaction.

Might be useful to note that if you install the banks app on your iPhone you'll likely receive a notification of the charge.
