I don't see details as to actual time ordered, but it was like 3:01 AM Eastern time
But we knew what the order turn-around times were going to be before placing the orders.
Almost every Apple mobile device does not have the production rates to meet the initial demand (and, frankly, there's a certain supply-chain logic to that). It should come as zero surprise to anyone that the watch would be any different. Expecting otherwise was naively optimistic.
It isn't expecting otherwise. It is probably within the June window. But you'd think over a month from ordering, they'd know enough about their production lines to update a window. It could be coming in three weeks. Unless it is eight. That's unacceptable.

How did you know payment was declined? Did you get a message from Apple? or bank?
Is anyone else picturing that scene from Crocodile Dundee when someone with an a non-SSSBL Apple Watch shows off their watch and then you lift up your sleeve to expose your SSSBL and say, "That's not a watch, THIS is a watch!"? Maybe its just me....
It is possible, though unlikely. I think everyone on the SS LB thread was next day at the earliest.
Until we see people changed to shipped and start to see UPS activity, it's anyone's guess.
The thing that makes me think it's a possibility is the fact that we were all charged really early in the morning. This sounds similar to stories of the iPhone 6 launch, when people were charged the morning that they received their phones.
At least one :04 order has gone.
They are not going in exact order. That's simply not possible.
I got an email from my bank AND Apple. Process was pretty easy to reauthorize.

I'm not arguing but how is it not? An order was placed electronically for a certain model and type. Simply charge them in order then assign that order a watch. I don't think they have a bunch of boxes with people's names on them and they are just grabbing the ones that are going out and scanning them.
