Stalking the iPhone at Quanta's Distribution Center

Jobs should have pulled a Willy Wonka and put 5 golden tickets inside random ipod packages, for a tour of the Cupertino campus and free 3G iPhone before the rest of the world. It would have been just like the movie, except adults wanting the tickets more than kids, hehe, oh, and of course not giving the factory to the winner.

I can't believe even mainstream media like Forbes are now stalking the iPhone like that.....

I hope the rumors of the iPhone being sold for £100 in the UK are true. If so, I'm getting one in september when my contract is up!

heh was definitely feeling the wonka-ism. Now if we could just see ballmer walking around trying to bribe people for the secret....
 
Iphone, inthere? Really???

Hi all,

Ok... I don't know if there's an Iphone in these boxes or not. I just doubt of it.

Let's think:

- The boxes seam to big for just a little Iphone. Compare the actual box with one of thoses. lol

- Isn't Iphone sold (mainly) by telecom companies such as ATT? Why in a hell would Apple bring so many Iphones without the ATT presence?

- Plus, a keynote, isn't the right day to sold so many iphones. Isn't it?

- The iphone 2 firmware is not out yet.
 
If Apple inventory is overflowing, it seems reasonable to assume that something is going to go on sale on Monday.

It does seem reasonable but the chances are still incredibly slim, imo

I think it is either next Friday or the following Thur/Fri

More time to get the launch day hype up and running

If Apple were evil, they might push the iPhone back a week, but they'd have something available immediately after the keynote - that would cause all the fanboys (I'd probably be in that list) to go out and buy whatever they came out with (tablet) and then get that same group to pony up for a new iPhone a week later.

Must maximize money extracted from pockets of the faithful.
 
Maybe they placed the new product inside and all the boxes outside are just imacs or macbooks ..
 
Ya everyone go steal some boxes from the parking lot.. bet when you get home with your new boxes you will be disappointed when you open the box to find out it even hasn't been filled with product yet....


Yay you just stole a empty box..... Now to the one guy go sell your box for a $h!t load of money on ebay now :p

Chances are high I would be standing right behind you

I just think that Apple will want to give the hype a running start before they start selling

I see the iPhone is getting a solid amount already but this announcement could really get the ball rolling for magazines, TV media, radio, etc....
 
Anyone know if these mysterious apple products have actually left this warehouse yet? If not and this is indeed the new iPhone do not expect them to be released tomorrow.
 
We all know they get delivered in the middle of the night; they always do that.

The long awaited "Computer", Apple's mid-range consumer tower with upgradeable everything I can imagine! Yes! Halleluia!

I can cancel my Psystar Open Computer order and I can have a real Apple made, Stevie-blessed, silvery box with shiny black rims. Or maybe I'd go with the shiny black box with silvery rims! O, the choices I'm having!

And with "Computer" there comes included "Keyboard", a wireless slim beauty with keys that light up like on a MBP.

Stevie, Stevie Stevie ... what took you so long!
