Sorry just reading your posts make it sound like YOU are possibly the problem. I suspect from conversations you have had with Amazon, they ALSO wish you no longer use their service.

I have never known Amazon to do any underhanded. I suspect they will fulfill their obligations per the agreement.

I used Amazon trade in. Shipped my item using the middle "used condition" as my case put scuffs on metal band of my 4S. Was expecting to get $310. Shipped it on the 25th, they got it on the 28th. Waited for the deposit and got it yesterday the 4th.

Now the best part, as I mentioned, thought I was going to get $310. To much of my surprise, I got the $365 "Like New" condition price! They didn't have to give the the better price, but still did. Another reason why I really love Amazon.

I had a good experience with Ebay instant sale. They rec'd my Iphone4 on Friday and I rec'd payment on Wednesday. It was is great condition with everything included.

I got $200 for my 16GB 4. through InstantSale. The price you get will depend a lot on WHEN you lock in your rate. I got it at $200....now I think it's $135.

Poster comes here and starts blasting Amazon and Ebay as if they are a scam and not providing services. He then "appears" to say they did follow though. He said he got his money. He says Amazon provide tracking. He says Ebay is the problem, when he is actually dealing with ebay VENDORS.

He appears to be totally irrational and in certain situations ( probably not this one), he could be held liable for slander.

I really do not know what his problem is, but have a few ideas which I will keep to myself.

I did eBay Instant sale last year and this year. It takes them a while, but I got my money just fine last year. They pay more than a place like Gazelle. This year I locked in my iPhone 4 sale before the 5 released (which got me an extra $60). Mine has been received by them, but not processed yet. I called and they said that they've got a backlog now as they're inspecting the devices and such. She said that for when mine was received (which was this past Monday), it should be complete by 10/12. So, figure a little less than two weeks after they received your package.

My status shows that FedEx delivered on 10/1 but that of 10/4 eBay was still waiting to receive it in. I figured they would be back logged so haven't worried about it.

I would think that the number of responses from MR members who have had good experience with eBay and amazon kind of negates the need to delete the thread.

Didn't read all the posts here but I used ebay instant sale for my iPhone 4 and an iPhone 3GS. Shipped them last Monday, they recieved it on Thursday and I got the money deposited in my PayPal account this Monday. I was very happy with the service, and they offered the most by far.

Sold 2 Iphone 4 about two weeks ago and I have not received the money yet. Amazon let's you track the device under your account. In ebay there is no trace that you ever sold the phone.

Stay away from these services. It is better to just giv away the phone to charity that sending it to these idiots.

I am so pissed for sending a perfectly working phone, that never let me down for 2 years to these idiots.

Stay awya. Do not trust the post saying that it works. THe post are written by them to lure idiots like me.

If you used eBay instant sale you might have to open up your email associated with your eBay account. The confirmation email provides a link to which takes you to a tracking page.
Not sure how much easier the could have made it.

During this time, I alreayd sold 2 iphone 5 on ebay, I shipped them, I waited 3 days for paypal and I received already the funds. in my bank account.

Even though the fees to sell on ebay are too high, I rather do it on my own next time.

Lesson learned I guess...

Ebay trade in has no paypal fees on withdrawal? Darn, I assumed they did which is why I chose Amazon trade in instead. I did get $395 for my 4S but now I've only got Amazon store credit (which isnt terrible but I like money).

My strategy was to use these online buyers as a backup. I locked in offers from eBay and next worth the two highest bidders. Then I immediately put my phone on CL for about 20 bucks above what eBay offered. Phone sold in 2 hrs of placing CL ad to local buyers.

Since the mkt was flooded with iPhone 4 I had to have a backup. But local cash in hand buyer is best

Also eBay says u get your money in a few days. Wtf that's good to know

Someone mentioned that they received an email from ebay. I never received such email. Actually i have not found a way to retrieve the transaction. Amazon is better at this because they at least have the tracking info in your account.

I have not received the money for the phones. I will update once I do( if i do)

I printed the labels once I completed the transaction. I have a tracking number and also confirmation from the FedEx office. But I never received an email from eBay. I was signed in when I did it.

They even upgraded my value by $72.75!!

I also thought it was odd they gave me more for the 16gb
