Stayed up all night, called in sick to work today, and STILL didn't get a November 3rd delivery date

My wife and I are fine with 64gb between our personal cloud and streaming. Ordered one at 11:56pm PST through Verizon, and then another one at 12:31am PST, both with 11/3 delivery. Guess they weren't nearly in demand as the 256, since I still got launch day 30 minutes later.

Why in the world would you cancel your order and expect to get an earlier delivery date when you reorder even later?!?!

Nowhere on Apple's website does it guarantee that you will receive an iPhone X on November 3rd if you pre-order one. It says that the phone will be available to the general public starting on November 3rd. If a company sells more of something than they have it stock, then guess what happens... it's called a backorder.

November 10th was only one week after launch why would you ever cancel. You probably would've got it a day or two prior to that also. People didn't cancel last year with waits of 6-8 weeks for the JB

The best part is that delivery dates tend to be worst case scenarios when they slip past the release date, there is a very good chance the OP would have gotten his phone earlier than the 10th

Obsessive is a more accurate word in your case, as loyal does not mean panicking when your iPhone could show up a week or two late.

I got screwed.. first-time applying for IUP had a 11/3 store pickup date.. Then 2 hours later an email came from Citizens One telling me they could not verify all my information (I made sure it was complete\correct) and said to please re-order. I went to re-order EXACTLY the same as at 3:07am EST and got the 5-6 week ship date. The OP has nothing to be mad about. I, however do!

That's rough. Citizen One definitely dropped the ball this time.

How were you able to get in at 3:07 EST (that's 12:07 PST) to place a second order if you had to wait 2 hours for approval? Were you able to go through the loan approval process early as a new customer? I'm asking because I know someone who skipped the IUP because they didn't want to go through the process at pre-order because it would take too long and every second counted.
