Completely false as I was on the phone with Johnny at that time. Thinking it had to be a family member with an emergency I picked up the phone without checking the caller ID and ended up having to explain to him why I was sleeping and not up preordering (how he knew I don't know but it's a little unsettling). Honestly it was like trying to explain to a small child why they can't have the latest high demand toy that's backordered for Christmas. After about the 18th "why" from him and I hung up.

Now i am pissed. All i got was a call from Scott Forstall

When Apple launches a revolutionary new product, demand is always off the charts. iPhone X will be in short supply for the next 9 months. So stick with your new pre-order.

Hmmm. Hardly "revolutionary. "different" maybe - for Apple. It's like the iPhone 5 redux. But revolutionary?

See his post history and how he claims at 11:55pm PT that he got his order in....which of course is contrary to what he's saying here in his first post.

If I'm paying over $1000 for a phone, I expect that I'll get it when Apple PROMISES I'll get it - On their website they specifically say November 3rd. So of course I'm going to cancel a pre-order if they can't uphold their end of the deal.

Carrier is T-Mobile
Shouldve travel to a different time zone...like this one dude i know on this forum...

Ugh. The stupid Apple Store App wasn't working... finally I got in, and got November 10th - November 17th. I was pissed, so I canceled the pre-order - Now when I try to re-buy it, I get a 5-6 week shipping estimate?

The worst part is i didn't sleep last night. This is how Apple treats its most loyal customers?

I feel for you.

I figured Apple would have millions of brand spanking new iPhone Xs in stock, so I decided to get a good night's rest instead of staying up until midnight.

Well woe is me! A five to six week wait! Unacceptable. I'm forced to make do with my current smartphones with 2016 technology. My life sucks. And I'm not even a Millennial.

Me too friend! I went and re-ordered even though I am pissed.

I just called CitizensOne and they said for a brief moment there was a glitch on APPLE's SERVERS (they are blaming Apple) that prevented our credit check qualification; and there is nothing they can do about it.
You were supposed to do this weeks ago if you knew you wanted an XPhone.

I preordered last night within about 15 minutes of opening. New IUP signup and I got the "we can't make a decision on your application now" message. I got an email 3.5 hours later saying my order was unable to be processed. When I just did another order when I woke up, I have a 5 week minimum wait time. :(

So you didn't get a reservation email either? I only see a handful of new IUP applicants that were screwed in some super brief credit certification part of the preordering process. Citizens One told me Apple does that processing in their servers and had a very brief outage. It's like you me and an elite few won the reverse lotto! Ugh!

Evidently if the phone qualification part had a snag those applicants got an email with a reservation which held their 11/3 pickup\ship date. BS

November 3 is not a promise of when you'll get your phone. The only promise Apple has made is that the phone will be released on November 3, a promise they have yet to fulfill because it's not November 3 yet. Seriously can't tell if you're actually this unreasonable or if this is a pointless unfunny troll thread.

They never promised you anything.

Correct. I didn't get any reservation email. I just got a sad email in the morning (3:45AM PST) that they were unable to process my order and to make another one.

#1. I think few if any people got November 3rd Delivery dates
#2. Apple probably scams customers by releasing a small handful of units available for sale on 11-3 but in reality the majority of available stock won’t ship until December

I mean trust me, I'm not thrilled with a Nov 17th Delivery window, but I sure as heck wasn't about to cancel it! Might as well hope I get it a day or two before, but really there was nothing more I could have done...

I am disappointed Apple Pay didn’t work and it kept on asking me my billing address. Long story short I wasn’t able to order. Fml

Wow, I wake up after catching up on sleep today and see that I'm berated for my post and called a troll. Sorry for expressing frustration at being told I'd get a phone on November 3rd, and actually (maybe) getting it in mid-December..

Please tell us who told you you'd get a phone on November 3. It seems you were laboring under the impression you would get a phone on the 3rd when in fact Apple made no such guarantee.

Try calling apple and see if they can do anything
