Unless her and her mom are pumping the stock price to make even more money… 😉Yeah, I am sure she doesn't care about money. That's why she deleted it soon after.
Why do we need to disqualify her assessment because of Steve Jobs being her father? Never mind his history, its been almost 12 years since his death, that would make her only 13 when that occurred. It's likely the comment was retracted because of the social media ramification but sounds like it was a honest opinion. There are certainly enough forum comments here that agree to that point. It's about crapping on your dead father's legacy that paid for your lifestyle and the name alone got her into modeling as she is no model. If she was so unhappy with the product offering, talk with Tim and team behind the scenes versus doing a public "look at me" attention move. I'd put money that someone near her manipulated her to post that tweet because her last name would make it newsworthy and ironic.
The 24-year-old world-class equestrian and Stanford graduate traded Silicon Valley for New York City in the fall of 2021 after making her runway debut for Coperni in Paris. Jobs has since signed a deal to be a face of Louis Vuitton and will star in a digital campaign later this year.
I’m not saying her comment is wrong. We all know the annual upgrades these days are a yawn fest. Her behavior was wrong IMHO. Would you do that to your deceased father if you were in the same boat? Why do we need to disqualify her assessment because of Steve Jobs being her father? Corrected.Doesn’t her mother own $$$ billions in Apple shares? Maybe she doesn’t understand that she’s advocating against her own self interest.
That depends on the family culture and siblings self respect/independence from the parents. I think her mother was a exceptionally intelligent independent thinking role model, and according to the linked article Eve Jobs was the apple that fell closest to the tree referring to Steve Jobs, with her being described as a "strong-willed, funny firecracker". So I would be more speculative if her opinion of the event was how Steve Jobs would have reacted to it.I’m not saying her comment is wrong. We all know the annual upgrades these days are a yawn fest. Coming from an iPhone 13? There’s still some there but not as much. Coming from a 12 or earlier? Yes definitely there’s strong reasons to upgrade.Does the non-pro model actually have any worthwhile upgrades though? If I'm somewhere that cellular can't reach, the world is probably over.
Let’s be honest, did she know the difference when she posted that? Because her ignorance is shining brightly in that post. She talked about iPhone 14 and not the PRO so your comment is inaccurate.

this is the feeling...iphone 14 should start $699 since its an 90% iphone 13 and discontinue the 13
Its first time that Apple dont upgrade SoC with a brand new one
Whats next? Apple will change only the colours and ask the same starting price as the last gen ?!
Careful how you vote the future with your wallets
Yes of course. Cause things like heredity, genetic traits, talents, skills or other notable biological distinctions passed down through family lineage due to well you know genetics…. They have absolutely nothing to do with a persons potential or existing abilities.I would argue that who her father is has no bearing on the value of her opinion, especially when it comes to this. And you know what they say about opinions…
Very likely because she too has an interest in Apple succeeding and that post will negatively impact investor confidence.I don’t know why she deleted it. She wasn’t wrong.
The iPhone 3G was RADICALLY different in design from the original iPhone. Did you even own those two devices? Seriously a very bad example. And I told you, the original iPhone and iPhone 3G had the exact same processor, and ram, and camera, and display.
So yes, they have done it before. Your original statement was incorrect.
Better person might be debatable. But better leader for Apple. No question Steve Jobs was a better leader for Apple. Tim Cook is the equivalent of having turned on autopilot in “most” commercial aircraft. It can maintain a heading and maybe even altitude but it’s not at all effective or capable at takeoffs or landings. Which is clearly what is eventually needed to introduce new products and retire old ones. She's not wrong. I'm sure if she had a few drinks she'd open up about how disgusted she is with Apple's capital-driven leadership. That was the difference between Steve and Tim - Steve was a visionary who didn't do it for the money. Tim is 100% about his net worth, nothing else. Steve might have been temperamental and hard to work with, but he was a better person, plain and simple.
Wow. Did everyone just completely lose their minds? EVERY YEAR for the past 14 years the top end models have had significant improvements in CPU and eventually in GPU performance. This is frankly standard practice in any electronics setting.Yup. I don't recall iPhones making huge jumps in features during Job's time. Well, except for "unique" antenna designs requiring phone holding lessons. And wasn't it Steve who insisted on keeping the iPhone small? As amazing a visionary as Steve was, he stubbornly managed a few blunders along the way.
