I hope he died peacefully and knowing how loved he is among the nerds of the world.

We love you Steve, RIP.

We've lost a true genius today.

Very very sad, not like boo-hoo sad, but a weird sad like we have truly lost something profound.

I mean this man was way too young, he had at least 20-30 good years of changing the world left in him.

RIP

This is a sad day. I feel like I have lost a family member. Steve will be dearly missed!

I am a bit surprised at my reaction to this news. I knew I loved Apple products, but didn't expect to feel this level of sadness. RIP Steve. :apple:

You Will Be Missed, Steve.

I'm not an Apple user (though I do own a Mac Mini which I occasionally use), but I must say that Steve Jobs had an enormous mostly positive influence on the tech industry. I think his legacy will be the idea that technology should be both beautiful and easy to use. Steve Jobs created technology for regular (non-techy) people. His success forced the rest of the industry to adopt his philosophy. Look at the changes Microsoft is making to its entire product line. Thank you, Steve Jobs. You will be missed.

when people said who would you want to be if you could be anyone.. i would always say steve jobs..not an entertainer, not an athlete, not a entrepreneur

steve is the epitome of innovation and customer relationship mgmt

hes a class act and a role model for anyone who loves IT

r.i.p. steve... its really sad see you leave this early

I don't know why, but this is bothering me a lot more than I thought it would.

Here's to one of the great innovators of our time.

We will always remember you, Steve. Thank you for your devotion, drive and brilliance in a world of pessimism and apathy. RIP good sir. May angels sing thee to thy rest.

Thank you Steve. May you legacy continue!

Had some great memories of Steve as an Apple employee including having lunch with him at Caffe Mac's. Didn't always agree with him but nobody can doubt he is brilliant. People say he changed technology. They are wrong. Steve changed everything about Business, period.

Wow, I'm at a loss. I feel like I owe Steve Jobs so much. My career wouldn't exist without him.

Going to miss you in a huge way.
