My heart breaks for his family. This is a great loss. :(

The new iPhone should always be remembered as the iPhone 4 S(teve).

The world owes a tremendous amount of gratitude to this brilliant man. He will be missed.
 
He and his vision will be missed. I do wonder if this happened yesterday though. Whatever the day, it's sad another victim was lost to cancer.
 
We knew this was coming when he was diagnosed with panc cancer. Too bad for the person, however, who probably should have gotten the liver that jobs was given. someone else probably died because of that, and it is unfortunate, so it is a double tragedy. we just wont know who else died while on the wait list for this organ. What a precious resource to waste.

A great innovator, Mr jobs was. Not really along the lines of gates, ford, or edison, but i like his designs.
 
Every Apple Event will always echo Steve's words "...and one more thing" and all of us will remember fondly the guiding father of Apple, Inc.

The heart and soul of Steve lives on in the company he help found and the people who work at Apple, Inc.

To his friends and family, the fans and community of Apple Users and to the people he touched, my thoughts are with you.

I have never in all my life been so sad over the death of someone who I did not know. Steve had what we all wish our leaders would have. Someone once said that life is essentially sad with small bursts of happiness, Steve had a lot to do with some of those bursts. RIP STEVE JOBS.

A visionary will be missed

Thank you SJ for your contribution in the way of technology that has enhanced peoples lives the world over. Your passion and enthusiasm will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Apple and by all means his family. Journey well SJ.
 
What an amazing man. Whatever I say cannot even begin to sum up the sadness of this day. I think the craziest thing is that this probably happened while I was doing my math homework, and that I have the same birth date as him (the year is different).

My condolences go out to his friends and family. Rest In Peace Steve. Truly saddened to see you go.

I'm much sadder than I though I would be, considering we knew it was a matter of time.

RIP Steve, you will be missed.
 
damm, talking about shocking news, this is very very sad. can't believe he's gone. so much way ahead, and he's gone. rest in peace steve, you deserve it, you'll be always remembered as a visionary, a truly one indeed.
 
R.I.P. Steve Jobs. You are in a better place now. I wish you would have had more time to yourself after stepping down from Apple. You gave us many great things.

You will be missed.

Dreams never die, just the dreamers.

A technical visionary that we will unlikely see the likes again. I was hopeful his direction would continue to be done behind the scenes.

A sad day indeed...

My sincerest condolences to his family. So sad to see this happen at age 56. RIP. The greatest visionary of the 21st century.
 
It is so sad, and truly shocking to hear of his death. He will certainly be missed, not only by Apple customers worldwide, but anyone that knew what a great man he was. :(
