RIP Steve Jobs, you will be missed.

This is sad day for everyone not just people who use Apple products. He was and always will be a visionary.

The world has lost one of the greatest visionaries. The technology industry wouldn't be the same without his innovation and creativity. So sad to hear this news and I wish the best for his wife and children. Hopefully Tim Cook can continue the legacy that Steve has left behind at the company he truly loved and make him proud.

You will be missed by millions.

My first Apple comp I ever used was the original black & white Macintosh back in 1990. I was in 6th grade. In my 12th grade, I bought my 1st Power PC. Today, I own 4 Apple computers and a number of devices. I've been there long before Apple became a trend, long before it became what it is today!

I still remember the first time I used the Information Super Highway, it was on a Mac and I used Gopher. I remember when Apple was struggling, when there was no USB,when Apple had a Launcher, when using Macs was tidius, when Macs had viruses, when you had to worry about conflicting extensions, when you couldn't multi-task, when you could only have one window open, when Mac's ran Windows, when you were able purchase a "Mac" in any brand you'd wish, and a lot more. Without Apple, I would not have a career.

Steve always inspired me.

RIP Steve.

:(

In my life, I have loved and hated Apple.

I have also loved and hated Steve's decisions.

Tonight, I will reflect and mourn accordingly.

In this sadness, I am glad that his family had time to be with him. Some people never get the chance to see the end coming. If there is a bright side to see here, that is it.

Steve will always have my respect.

R.I.P.

Can someone please remove the quote from Eric Shmidt on the front page? He stabbed Steve in the back worse than Gates did and that quote was from months ago.

Its a sad day!

I would however like to say congratulations to MacRumors for not saying "Jobs is Dead!" and actually saying that he has passed away - it just seems far more respectful.

R.I.P Steve

Although we all knew he was not in good health, I am still shocked. Thanks for all your contributions that make my job as an IT Consultant all that much more enjoyable to perform. RIP Steve.

Rest in peace, Steve...

Rest in peace, Steve. So sad... His keynote presentations are awesome. He inspired me a lot. We will miss you.

Here’s to the Crazy One.

The misfit. The rebel. The troublemaker. The round peg in the square hole. The One Who Saw Things Differently. He wasn't fond of rules. And he had no respect for the status quo. You can quote him, disagree with him, glorify or vilify him. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore him. Because he changed things. He pushed the human race forward. And while some may have seen him as the crazy one, we saw genius.

Because the man who was crazy enough to think he could change the world, was the one who did
. -- Jack Kerouac

May eternal bliss, joy and love welcome your soul, Steve.
