I agree - even though I didn't know him personally, his affect on my life over decades can't be understated. It does feel as if I've lost someone close.
The color of this Apple is non more appropriate than today.
We quite rightly praise and exalt this visionary and business person for all he has done to bring us technological advancements and a modern, charismatic management style that is the envy of the business world.
I personally would like to pay tribute to Mr. Steve Jobs for simply never forgetting who he was and maintaining a close bond with the people he wanted to share his dreams with. This is no easy task and as a striving business small business owner, I want to emulate this more than anything. I wonder if I can, but one thing is for sure and that is Steve has proven that being successful business wise doesn't mean being distant or having to forget your dreams.
Thank you Steve.
My deepest condolences to his family, his friends and his colleagues at Apple that will all surely miss him sorely.
Wonder if anyone that is a Photoshop pro can make us some nice images that we can all use as background wallpapers for our phones. I think it would show a nice tribute if everyone used one for a while
Steve, you left the world better than you found it, and that is a rare and honorable thing.
Thank you for delivering us from DOS and allowing our families a device to keep, record, design, and create our own family memories, business creations, and dreams.
God Bless and fair winds and following seas!
Such sad news. Steve was an amazing inventor, and an amazing person. Everything he ever created was built with so much heart, care, and culture. Many try to follow his footsteps, but always come up short. I will miss him a great deal, as he continued to break new barriers and define technology.
I feel very fortunate to have been in the audience in Boston for his keynote when he came back to Apple as an advisor and ultimately iCEO. I did't know much about the man back then.
All I can think to say is "Thanks, you will be greatly missed".
What I would give for just "One more thing" right now.
Oh man! Wow! I just read this on yahoo and I didn't expect him to die so soon after just stepping down. He must have been really really sick. I'm kind of lost for words. I was really hoping that wasn't the case when he resigned. He did a lot for the world through technology. As a college student majoring in Comp Sci, my hats off to him.
