Steve Jobs Has Passed Away

I almost didn't believe it when I read the news because there have been so many false scares. It may sound stupid, but I am humbled to use stuff Apple and Steve have created. As a person who values good design, I can't imagine life without Apple.

Their not fond of rules and they have no respect of the status quo, you can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or villify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them, they change things, they push the human race forward. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who think their crazy enough to change the world, are the ones that do."

When I was at Nike, I got an email from Steve Jobs. The subject line was "ping". It began, "We have a mutual friend in common Mike Hawley at the MIT Media. I think we might have a solution to the problem you mentioned to Mike. You may not know me but I founded Apple computer..." I was awe struck. I still am....his spirit is with us.

I was once anti-apple. I was a PC fan until you came along and opened my eyes to magic. The company will not be the same. R.I.P. Steve. #LoyalCustomer #AppleFTW

Steve was a remarkable man who really had a unique touch to him. My condolences go out to his family in this very difficult time. He will go down as a legend. Thank you for bringing us such wonderful products.

I also want to say that it saddens me to hear the news talking about the future of Apple. Apple is the largest tech company in the world, thanks to Steve Jobs. It would take the worst management ever to kill the company at this point. Plus, us Apple fans won't just go away for no reason....I think Apple will continue to thrive and grow just as the Walt Disney Company survived Walt's death. Will it be a different company, yes....but it will always be the company that Thinks Different.
