I can't believe this :( you imagine someone so great is invincible. I'm shell shocked :(

Maybe

Alls I can say is damn. He may have been persnickety, but this whole building is full of Apple equipment for a reason.

We're all wondering the same thing - does anyone at AAPL have the wherewithal to keep tabs on the internal bickering explosion?

And who will keep the inevitable management-heavy upside down pyramid at bay? You know, 14 chiefs to 1 indian thing. IMHO won't be long before AAPL = IBM, ATT, MSFT or SUN. Samsung's our new hero

In any event, god bless you Steve. You'll be missed.

Maybe, without simply complaining about latest releases, WE need to use our voices and help Apple in the next few years, like they helped us...

I wish I had spent more time learning about him as a person and how he approached life than playing around with his gadgets. Life is precious and it's gone before you know it. I'm going to dedicate a lot more time to better myself as a person than wasting it away.

Thank you Steve for inspiring me.

Very, very sad

You were one of my greatest inspirations, Steve. Will miss you a lot.

My deepest condolences to your family, Apple team and all the Apple fans around the world.

Rest in Peace

:(

This is so sad... The world has lost an amazing person and my thoughts are with his family and friends. We all knew this day was coming, but I never thought it would be so soon.... I wish the best of luck to the Apple family and I join them (as well as millions of people around the globe) in the mourning of an intricate leader I wish I could've know.

RIP Mr. Jobs, you will be greatly missed.

Victor

Thank you, Steve

You will be deeply missed. I never personally knew you, yet I sit here almost in tears over your passing. However, I find your quotes about life and death extremely inspiring. Condolences to the Jobs family. May Apple make Steve proud for years to come. :(:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

Steve Jobs 1955-2011

You will be deeply missed Steve, it was your charisma and creativity that has made me find the love for computers and technology all over again. Your words will continue to make me strive to continue pushing myself through life. Thank you for all the great memories and your words "One more thing" will forever echo in my mind.

Steve saw ahead; how many times did 'experts' say he didn't know what he was doing, how many examples, where Steve turned out to be ahead of the game. Only people who see like Steve saw can take Apple forward, and I think Steve was setting that up the last few years. Apple will carry on as long as people who think like Steve are there.

Thank You

Thank you Steve for creating a company that is consumer centered. Thank you for all that you've done. You will be missed. RIP.

A Tribute to Steve Jobs

Today, Apple lost it’s founder and greatest asset. Today, the world lost a genius who revolutionized the way we consume media. Today, I lost a hero. Steve Jobs was everything to me. He was a role model; someone to aspire to. I’ve wanted to be like him since I was seven years old. When I read about his death, my heart sank as I prayed it wasn’t true. But it was true. And so the tears began to fall.
Apple’s former CEO, Steve Jobs was a remarkable person; he led his company with a passion and strength that no one else will ever replicate. Steve Jobs brought the world to where it is now, and helped shape the age of technology. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
I’m typing this on a PowerBook G4 laptop. It’s at least six years old, and barely runs Leopard. I’ve always considered it incredibly slow, and hard to use. Yet, I think about how far computers have come in the last twenty years, and how Steve contributed to the great successes. It puts a smile on my face, to know that Steve Jobs brought technology farther than it has ever been, and that Apple will continue Steve’s legacy.
The world won’t be the same without Steve at the helms, to show us the next big revolutionary thing. No other person had leadership style of Steve Jobs, his ability to predict what consumers want, or the amazing and revolutionary achievements that he achieved.
Apple will remain a strong company; announcing advanced products that are more amazing then before, paving the way to new technologies, and revolutionizing the way that people feel about computers and mobile devices. But they have lost their greatest asset. And the world has lost the man who revolutionized the way we consume technology. Me? I lost a hero. :apple:

I have lost several friends and some family to cancer so I know the struggle and challenges quite well. One can only prey they find peace they so deserve and continue their life forever strong and more.

Prayers go out to his family and his passing. Everything else has already been said about him as a business man so I will echo those comments too.

We pray for you and your family Mr. Steve Jobs. Thank you for touching all of our lives with your vision of technology.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
