Steve Jobs to Give Keynote at WWDC on June 9th

IMHO iPhone 3G will not be the big ticket announcement, the big ticket will be the new device, also a small mention about 10.6, probably the cat name and more details at Jan conference.

Or they could announce that they purchased Dell and are giving the money back to the shareholders. Now that would be a hoot!!!!!!!!!!
 
1.) Review of 3G iPhone released last month.
2.) Firmware 2.0 walk-thru.
3.) Review new AppStore and publishing process in depth.
4.) SDK will be finished in a couple of weeks.
5.) Desktop and Mobile Safari adoption has been terrific!
6.) AT&T now gives free Wi-Fi access with all plans.

And one more thing!

7.) "Hello, Again." Apple reintroduces the new multi-touch Newton running OS X. AppStore for Newton. Resolution independent graphics support. Thin! Ships in July. $799.

New scenario

1 A country "runs out of iphones"
2 Shipments resume to that country with new 3g phones which are otherwise identical to the old models but are only functional on edge
3 June 9 Steve "turns on the lights" and announces "we're already shipping the new phone and as of now, we're activating 3g!"

I thought the new Newton is already out. It's called ipod Touch...

That would be the most disappointing WWDC ever! No new MacBook Pros?? I want a significant MbP update, new form factor based on the Air but bigger, with a swappable Bluray/battery drive. I'm willing to spend big bucks in June, so bring it on Steve!

He will announce the name of the next version of Mac OS X but then say "but we won't be talking about that today"

There will be 3 Special Guests

And to start off the keynote, the PC Guy will announce an Apple merger with Microsoft.

I think he would steal the show if he wore something else. The reports on how Steve Jobs wore a white shirt and black pants would drown out the media reports on the iPhone.

"Is Jobs quitting the company?" "Is the Apple CEO indicating that he's switching directions with his bold new wardrobe?"
 
So, next Tuesday we'll see the "Black" iPhone with 3G.

WWDC we'll see iPhone 2.0 software come out, and maybe even some built-in GPS?

How about new displays this time?
Ditch the 20".
Lineup: 24", 27", 30"
Much thinner, and glossy as an option.
HDMI input added to DVI?

Update the Mac mini...?

WWDCs start on Monday, but that brings up a point - everyone is forgetting that this is a developer conference. It's going to be geared toward them, not consumers in general. I was there two years ago, and the new things were the MacPro and a Leopard sneak peak.

The iPhone has become a developement platform so any changes and upgrades affect the developers. Sure it wouldn't be appropriate to intro a new non-touch iPod or Apple TV at WWDC because that is a closed platform (for now).

Plus, all eyes are on any keynote that Steve gives.

Do you think we will see a new MacBook Pro? And if we do, do you think it would be enough of a redesign to wait until then to get one? My biggest hope for WWDC is an iPhone/iPod Touch Docking Station. Just an idea.
