what is "Google Wi-Fi collection?

...Just curious.

Also Steve mentions not going into the 'search business'?!?
That isearch article on I read linked from here was pretty persuading!?

Two million sold in two months makes it kind of a runaway best seller. That's probably twice the number of tablet computers that have sold in the past ten years.

If that statement is not true, it is very close. Hell I remember when I was writing GRiDpad apps using PenView and seeing very mixed reactions to the device.

This "first iPad then iPhone in development" is exactly how Palm got started. The GRiDpad was developed by Jeff Hawkins and company over at GRiD. The parent company, Tandy, didn't see what they had or marketed it poorly. There was also battery life. Jeff and Donna came together, started Palm, did the Zoomer (tanked due to way too many cooks in the soup) and then the Pilot that sold a million units.

Talking about that, curious to see how Jeff Hawkins ends up from the HP buyout of Palm. Any public filings on that yet?

I was surprised that AllThingsD didn't sack her after her hugely embarrassing performance in the Steve Jobs/Bill Gates double interview in 2007, but now they are giving her a solo interview with Jobs?! What the f***??

The politics of who gets what interview and press assignment in a media group is some of the most bizarre office politics of all corporate America. Sometimes I swear, decisions like this are made in secret society ritual chambers and it rolls downhill from there.
