So, this has been going on for a bit, but in Pages when changing style (italics, bold, etc.) and as of today alignment (left, center, right), it for some reason highlights the invisible paragraph indicator:

It seems to only happen when there's nothing else there. Annoying, because typically after changing one of these, I start typing immediately (with the intention of typing in bold, italics, etc.) and then... there goes my paragraph. Bug or feature? Has it always done this and I just never noticed? Delete Pages and reinstall? Except I may have already done this when trying to update it... bleh. It's not a huge problem, but if there's a solution that would be excellent.

El Capitan 10.11.6
version 5.6.2
(can't go any further with current hardware, so updating is out of the question)

I'm on Sierra and I get the same behavior…if the cursor is directly behind a paragraph indicator.

Seems like a bug. I don't know how long it has done that.
