Studio Display Delivery Date

Anyone who ordered the studio display last week on launch day have a March 18th delivery? Mine says the 23-30.

Will it be available to order in store on Friday?
 
March 18. I ordered using the Apple app on iOS literally as soon as Tim Apple started his closing monologue.

Pretty sure there will be a few units in Apple Stores this friday, but not sure if the height+tilt stand will be avaible
 
I intentionally waited until the tilt+height was ordered out to mid-May so that if Apple announces a mini-LED version at WWDC I'll still be within my return period. It's going to suck to have to wait two months to get it, though.

Gah mine is showing May 11-25th. That’ll teach me to hang around and thing about things 😭

I’m going to check on Friday and see if I can pick one up from apple store instead as they may have stock there earlier.

Whenever I am undecided about anything Apple-related I put in a flurry of orders for the different configurations that I *might* want right when pre-orders open. Then I cancel as I have adequate time to consider what I really want.

Sweet! 🙂 it actually frustrates me to no end when they open orders up on new products immediately after announcement, especially when they have complex sub-decisions baked into them. Perfect example was the MacBook Pro... "How am I supposed to decide on screen size, RAM, storage, and between these five different processor combinations in the next four minutes?!"

Any indecision and bam they're ordered out to next August.

Like @kappisto seems Apple in Australia is pushing back delivery dates by a minimum of 2 business days. Everyone I know that has ordered one has received the same delayed email.

Yes, this is a great idea to avoid the delays that happen waiting too long to decide!

I ordered immediately 2 displays - one from B&H and the other from Apple.

Both of them show late March delivery but we will see since I know a majority of them are already in country at AI warehouses.

If worse comes to worse and I don't see one, I'll try to snag one from the Apple store Friday morning.

Base model should not be an issue since they are the most common shipped / stocked.
 
I ordered a nano w/standard tilt soon after the keynote and was quoted March 31-April 7. I will try my best to find one locally or see if another retailer can get me one faster come Friday. If not I will impatiently wait.
 
I did the standard tilt, standard screen/glass minutes after keynote ended. Preparing for Shipment, Delivery estimate is Friday 3/18.
