Studio Display Delivery Date

Pick up stock is starting to be available today in both my local Apple Stores and other retailers. For me, I ordered from a local retailer on Sunday morning and got the Apple Studio Display delivered to my door on Monday morning. ?
 
I dithered for a while before ordering two weeks ago and have a delivery date of 17th to the 31st of May. No stock in any of the UK Apple Stores until June.
 
Studio Monitor with the tilt and height adjustable stand is now 8-10 weeks out. I'd hate to be ordering a new Mac Studio today and end up waiting so long to get an Apple display for it! Even orders for a Mac Studio with greater storage are showing delivery in early/mid May, a full month sooner than the display.

Fortunately I'm not in that position at the moment, but I have been watching the delivery times and store availability and its not good. I would like to be able to just pick one up at my closest Apple Store, but it's looking like by the time that is possible (i.e. this fall, maybe), the next round of hardware introductions will be here and I may be able to get a larger screen iMac after all!

Studio max are starting to appear in US stores even though they state that in- store availability isn’t until April so people should just keep watching the stores and see what pops up

Yes, I've noticed that too. But (if I purchase one) I will want more storage than 512GB, so it will be less likely to find in a store. Eventually they will probably have a selection.

The problem may still be getting the monitor at the same time. Particularly with the height adjustable stand. It gives me a good reason to delay any purchase decision, frankly, which is a good thing!
