i was able to book 1 with no problems at all. Now when i try to book a second reservation for my wife it says "Could not create your reservation at this time, please try again later."

Buying multiple iphone on June 24

was able to reserve one using the app. Shows up as $599 like everyone else.

I was only able to reserve 1 though, and both my wife and I want to upgrade.

i wonder if we are going to have issues getting the 2nd one once I am in the store. the pickup time is 7am.

i am going to get my wife to download the apple app now and see if she can reserve hers now as well.

i finally got mine reserved at the apple store in the city. took a good while but i gave the iphone app one more try and i finally got thru. got the confirmation email and now to wait patiently till the 24th. ^_^ it says $699 for the total for my black 32gb but i have the upgrade option available to me so i'm hoping that will show up on apple's computers when i go to purchase the phone.
 
I really hope it's there on the 24th.

Finally got one reservation to go thru just now! Second line right after errors out.
 
Guys, use the Apple Store app. I was able to reserve my phone in a few seconds using it. Much better an trying Apples website or suing the phone.
 
after I put in my info at the app store, it says "there was a problem connecting to the server. Please make a reservation at your... store.. where a specialist will be ready to help you.

Tried several times.
 
Me too. Have your wife download the app on her phone. If it is a family plan, have her use her phone number and social. My wife just did it succesfully.

I think the issue is that you can only reserve one phone per Apple ID. Installing the Apple Store app on a different iPhone won't be sufficient, even if your phones on the same AT&T account, unless you also login to a separate Apple ID. I logged in with an alternate Apple ID (via the Store section of Settings) and was able to reserve my wife's phone without issued.
 
I already did mine, but there is a message saying they are no longer taking reservations via the Apple Store App.
 
Weird when I reserved I get $199 instead of $599 since I'm not eligible. Email doesn't say anything about price either.

Did you try again? In some ways this is good, because those that have reserved don't want to stand in line for hours and hour and hours. Even then, lines will be long regardless.

I tried using the app, and was getting an error saying that the process couldn't be completed and to try again. Despite those errors, I received an email confirming my reservation. However, my credit card hasn't been charged anything yet.

I was just wondering if it's standard for the card NOT to be charged yet if you reserve a phone with this process.

No. It's reserved based on your iTunes user info, but nothing is charged until you pick it up.
 
I was successful reserving, just now.

The confirmation email does *not* have a price or rate plan listed. So, Apple has obviously triaged (kudos! Somebody know what to do!) and dropped the ATT confirmation and made updates to wording to avoid confusing customers.

Apple's doing the best it can. ATT's still trying to dig-out from what they can't do.
 
No confirmation e-mail yet.

I pre ordered the iphone 4 at the Apple Store using the Apple Store App on someone else's iphone. I entered my account information through itunes and proceeded to the Apple Store App to pre order my iphone 4. A confirmation on the app confirmed that my iphone was successfully pre ordered yet I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail. Is there a chance that the pre order was not successful because I used someone else's iphone to pre order it? How long does it usually take for a confirmation e-mail to be sent? I'd appreciate your help! Thanks!
