And I can safely say it was boring. I mean, come on! 5 second play, 20 second break. Rugby is so much better. Hell Aussie Rules is better, and that's just a bunch of guys running around frantically.
I'm sorry, but it seems both of your national sports, Baseball and Gridiron are boring. But then again I'm sure you have a similar view about Cricket

I must add... this was a very boring superbowl... the first hlaf could have been called the BLOOPER Bowl. The Bears TD return of the kickoff was great but it sucked fromt here on.
The big breaks are only in the Super Bowl, which I detest. And once Australia invents a sport I'll be sure to bash it for you.

The two years I lived in Europe (France, Italy, England) opened me to sports that are not usually shown on US TV. I particularly enjoyed cricket, even though the complete rules still elude me. If you were bored by American football, I can only imagine how you'd feel about baseball. Those of us who haven't fallen under its spell liken the excitement of the game to that of watching grass grow or paint dry.
