1. Chuddles is pissed (much like a number of people) because you're trying to really make this ATN thing catch-on, despite no one else really caring.

2. It was an Acura commercial

Well, at this point there's hardly any point in insisting anything was actually an Apple Ad (aside from the iTunes mention in the one commercial). So, that should put the ATN thing to rest.

It's been fun. But, the show's over.

Well, if Apple doesn't get the lead out, I'll be spending my money on something else. Not changing OSes, so keep yer panties on, but I'll be allocating $$ somewhere else when it would have definitely gone to uncle steve.

Perhaps... I'll have to reserve my judgment for now, though, as I didn't record the game (much less the halftime show!).

Yeah, we could be talking about different things, but the one part that I'm thinking of it didn't at all come across as looking pre-recorded. A lot of the sem-live stuff goes with concerts (performances?) that involve dancing and whatnot where they are out of breath... that and inexperienced performers I guess.

I sat through that entire ball-fumbling event to see the apple ad and that guy propose to his gf and neither happened...:(

I noticed the female dancers he had with him were not extremely practiced with their moves; perhaps the rain tempered the sliding and running around that usually goes on?

:apple: (<-- I had to do it... :D )

Revlon - Colorist

Hey Guys, I found something! Not really sure if this one counts.
Go to CBS.com and view the SuperBowl Ads Online.
http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/postseason/superads
During the commercial break between 2nd and 3rd Qr. there is a commerical by Revlon promoting its new hair-dye product "Colorist", featuring Sheryl Crow. The main focus of the ad is that the hair color will "Not Fade Away". which is the title of Beatles' CD (Artifacts III - CD 1 - Not Fade Away: 1969-1971).

At the end of the commercial, it says "NOT FADE AWAY only on iTune", and I thought that might be Apple's ad for SuperBowl XLI ?

haha let me know what you think, email me or somthing.

I have no idea what you just said.

I liked the Crocodile Hunter though, shame what happened. I also liked the film Rescuers: Down Under. Oh, and Crocodile Dundee too, but not the sequels.

What's not to understand? It's quite simple. I guess you've never heard of Australian Rules, or ARL before. You asked for an Australian invented sport. I think Auzzie Rules qualifies...

I think I can speak for the majority of Australians who feel that the common view of Australia other countries have is incorrect. eg. I hear some people think Kangaroos hop down Sydney streets. I can safely say that the only Kangaroos in Sydney are either located in Taronga Zoo, or regularly travel the world playing Rugby League, which coincidentally is another piss-poor game. (Let the riots begin!)

haha, you only say that rugby sucks because nz is expected to win the wolrd cup and is currently doing better that aus.

I actually mentioned this to a couple of my friends. I saw the "NOT FADE AWAY only on iTunes" and was like "um, that better not be it." But I doubt that was Apple's attempt at a super bowl commercial. That was a really stupid commercial imo, not like apple to do a stupid commercial.

Huh? I quite clearly said Rugby LEAGUE. I love Rugby Union, and no matter how badly the Wallabies go, I will still love watching the game. Rugby LEAGUE sucks. Rugby UNION Rules. Even though Australia's going pretty piss-poor at the moment.

And anyway, we seem to be flogging those Kiwis pretty hard in the game of the moment, Cricket. Another great game.

1. I find it amusing chuddles is pissed over anything I say at all. And you find it valuable to post about me too. Hmmm.

As far as ATN, the voices in my head tell me so, and I post it in my messages, and everybody is hereby instructed to NOT follow me :)

2. I stand corrected.

Rocketman

:)

Hey, all I've got to say is that if a company can skip their own 30th anniversary, they sure as heck can they skip out on the SuperBowl!

Perhaps we'll see the store down on Tuesday again...:apple: (yehaw, I did the little apple thingy)

1. Yeah, I'm not pissed (pissed means drunk) or annoyed over anything you say, I just like fishing when someone follows a course of action so faithfully. You can call it whatever you want, I was just having some fun.

What a thumping by the Colts and gee, talk about a let down of a game, all that rain, the bad camera work, very shoddy play in the first half and a complete capitulation by the Bears. Ah well, hopefully the Seahawks will get through again next year and actually win this time instead of having the game stolen from them by poor decisions by the blind and stupid referee.

Right, the Super XIV Rugby is soon to kick off, GO YOU BRUMBIES! (or, if the Brumbies suck this year) GO YOU WARATAHS!

Blame the rumor sites ...

Another speculation party from the rumor sites. You shouldn't blame Apple, blame the rumor sites. As for the ad, it was a no show, much like Rex Grossman's talent. Put in the Michigan alum.

Tell ya what, I reckon it was a good play by the NFL - that's a lot of computer nerds watching the Super Bowl this year... :D

So I am taking it there was no Apple ad in this years Super Bowl.:( At least the Super Bowl got some news coverage in NZ regarding the cost of a 30 second advert.
