The idea of a watch is having an important piece of information (the time), strapped to your wrist easily accessible and glanceable. Well, if you rethink this idea with the capability to add software, you can play off that basic fundamental principle of easily accessible piece of information, easily glanced at worn on your wrist. I don't even pretend to know what Apple might do, but these other companies who think that a smart watch should just be a little miniature computer that straps to your wrist, that tries to mimic smartphone or tablet-like functionality while also telling time, is completely missing the boat. Their minds are trapped in the conventional wisdom of today.
