Yes, yes. Of course. I believe it. After all, it's gonna be called the iPhone 6S, pronounced sixess - which sounds a lot like success!
2GB RAM 6s means i can skip until the iPhone 9 or even 10 without having to upgrade just to keep up with the latest iOS.
It also found that about 50% of customers who plan on purchasing a new iPhone will do so in the next 12 months,
I don't know you reached 100 pounds for all of that stuff...did you bother to factor in R&D? do you know 100 pounds per iPhone is not accurate AT ALL?!?!?!?Simple: Make it a decent modern smartphone (2GB Ram, 32Go entry, ≥12mp camera), decent look (enough with these ugly space gay and gold couch potato options, bring back true dark/black options, also nobody need those ugly white coated bands, not for cell reception, not for product recognition...) and with a few small innovations (Forced Touch will be enough).
And you've got the best upgrade you can hope for from Apple. Anything below would be the usual scam, milking, legacy abuse.
Also: Price could help. 1000€ for a Smartphone that costs 120€ to produce (all manufacturing, shipping, marketing etc...costs diluted and included) is more than overprice, it's crookery.
This just in:
Amazing statistic, that! But after months of research, I've come up with a similar, amazing finding: About 100% of customers who plan on purchasing a new iPhone will do so within the next 24 months - when their contract or device payment plan runs out!
The s model is always the one with the most new features added... it's the non s models that mostly bask in the changes made to the form factor. Speed bumps and camera improvements are usually minor in non-s iPhones, and then you tend to get one hallmark feature like retina display or Apple Pay. I can't even think what that would have been for the 5... that had to be the lamest iPhone upgrade of all time.So in other words, every iPhone you buy is a compromise if you dwell enough over it. Now, with the assumed demise of two year contracts, Apple may have more incentive to make every 's' model more than just an incremental update. That may explain why we're hearing about more updates than are typical for a 's' model.

I had the exact same reaction but didn't see you post when I posted mine. Now mine looks inane.
I blame this new forum format.
since every year hardware gets updated and bugs exist in every single software, I gont get the point of having an s device. I for myself would be sad if I get 5s then saw 6+ or 4s and then saw the 5...I'm on the "s" cycle and staying with it. That way I let some of y'all work out the bugs and I get the updated hardware "s". Life's good
Yep! I had to laugh because when I say the article that was my first thought. At this point there are many posts to this thread already but to see your post the very first thing just filled me with joy.All I care about is 2GB RAM.
Then don't upgrade! I'm not sure why so many want to upgrade every yearI have owned every single version of the iPhone, but my 6 Plus is such a great device that I don't feel like I need to upgrade this time around.
2gb of RAM sounds nice, but I honestly have not run into a RAM bottleneck on the 6 Plus like I used to on my iPad Air. But I may change my tune once the the 6s is released (ohhh, new shiny toy!).
Well said.makes sense. most people i know with apple phones like to wait for the S models to upgrade. it's not a mystery anymore - which ones have the best features and least amount of hardware problems.
I didn't upgrade to the 6/6+ because I thought they were too big. It's now evident that there's no going back any time soon. I've had a year to get used to the idea, and, dangit, I want a new phone!
Bring on the 6s!
