So as i promised to some others I finally got around to trying the Screen Protector that comes with this case.
Clarity is really good, I looked at all angles and could not see a rainbow effect. Finger printing is not as bad as the unprotected iPad screen but it does still show (they are pretty easy to wipe off).
The cut on the screen protector is really good, I installed it from the top down and it lined up great. You can see the outline of the screen protector against the glass surface (where it ends) but that is true with all protectors.
I did not take a ton of time putting it on so I got a ton of bubbles in the install but was able to work most of them out. I think if you really take care you can install it with minimal to no bubbles.
To me it seemed like my finger ran across the iPad screen more smoothly without the protector on.
In the end I removed it because I did not want to deal with the bubbles that I still had plus I had a few specks of dust or lint I would have had to work out. I may go back when I have a lot of time to install it and try again but I think (as crazy as it sounds) I may keep a screen protector off my iPad just to retain its natural screen look and feel.
I did not shoot a video for this as I did not think it would be all that interesting watching some guy (me) putting a screen protector on. LOL.![]()
You're probably right about not needing a vid for that haha, but very useful information all the same, I'm sure all of use here appreciate the lengths you have gone to with all of this. In fact it was your videos that convinced me to buy one (finally on the european store). I ordered the clear one.
So many thanks to you psychonaut.
Neil.
