So as i promised to some others I finally got around to trying the Screen Protector that comes with this case.

Clarity is really good, I looked at all angles and could not see a rainbow effect. Finger printing is not as bad as the unprotected iPad screen but it does still show (they are pretty easy to wipe off).

The cut on the screen protector is really good, I installed it from the top down and it lined up great. You can see the outline of the screen protector against the glass surface (where it ends) but that is true with all protectors.

I did not take a ton of time putting it on so I got a ton of bubbles in the install but was able to work most of them out. I think if you really take care you can install it with minimal to no bubbles.

To me it seemed like my finger ran across the iPad screen more smoothly without the protector on.

In the end I removed it because I did not want to deal with the bubbles that I still had plus I had a few specks of dust or lint I would have had to work out. I may go back when I have a lot of time to install it and try again but I think (as crazy as it sounds) I may keep a screen protector off my iPad just to retain its natural screen look and feel.

I did not shoot a video for this as I did not think it would be all that interesting watching some guy (me) putting a screen protector on. LOL. :D

You're probably right about not needing a vid for that haha, but very useful information all the same, I'm sure all of use here appreciate the lengths you have gone to with all of this. In fact it was your videos that convinced me to buy one (finally on the european store). I ordered the clear one.
So many thanks to you psychonaut.

Neil.

Psychonaut, thank you so much for your very good impressions of the case. I'm already subscribed to you on YouTube and hope to hear from you (Twitter?) if you end up finding any other iPad accessories that you find worthy of your review--you're reviews are really awesome!

Thanks again. I have some other reviews/impressions i'll hopefully be posting between today and the end of the weekend on some other iPad accessories. :)

Mine arrived today. Clear.

It's not perfect...a few small blemishes....which I can live with.

A very little bit frustrated that it doesn't appear to fit with the camera connection kit. This seems like a silly oversight on Switcheasy's part.

I contemplated getting the Exacto knife out and making it fit....but I'm not the patient type and would probably hose it up.

All in all I think it's a nice case for $30. It probably won't be my last case....but it's pretty nice.

Steve

Are you sure about the camera connection kit not fitting because in the video's posted he shows that the kit does work...

Bummer. That's all I can say.

It doesn't fit the 3G correctly and is sharp all around the edges where you hold the device. It is very uncomfortable if you're a thumb typer.

Great potential but needs some tweaking.

After a full day, I like, but don't love it.

I'm not sure if it's exactly what I am looking for, but it's in the right direction. I really think the thing I like most about it is the travel stand. If I could find one similar that collapses flat like the switcheasy one then it would be an easier decision for me to look for a different case.

Just got mine in turquoise. Love everything about it! The fit, the screen protector, and the accessories are all awesome. Two thumbs up on this one. :D :D

Liking the sticker on the back! I placed my order for a clear one yesterday and am hoping it gets here by Thursday ( my birthday ), will probably go out and I want to show everyone the SwitchEasy case.

I have the Apple case...like it, I have the Belkin Grip Vue ( the original clear with the lip over the aluminum )....like it too, and now waiting on the SE Nude...hoping I love it!

I have to STOP buying cases and apps for this thing, but I am having so much fun:D

Thanks! I have the vue also, I loved it but found it a little bland and thick. I also had the :apple: case, but I returned that one because I didn't like the flap and how dirty it got. I think I'll stick with the NUDE for now! :D

I just got me nude.

A few have mentioned that the edges are rough in some spots, and mine is also like this.

This is minor issue, and can be buffed down with a fine emory stick or whatever.

Overall, it's sort of cheap but WTF :D

My 2 issues were the sharp edges and the fit especially around the corners.

Turquoise looks awesome!

I'm still torn between this, the Belkin Grip Vue, and the Hard Candy Sleek Skin. The rough edges on the NUDE would be a big problem for me, and I'm afraid that filing them down (apart from the fact that we shouldn't have to do that) will make the case uneven, or would rub marks would be visible.

I ordered my ultra clear on the third and it hasn't shipped. I emailed swith easy about my order and they said it was out of stock at the time and they are hoping to ship it soon. That all happened Friday.

Are you in the US or UK? I ordered mine on Wednesday (5th) and it is apparently being delivered tomorrow (10th).
I'm a little bit worried about how good it will be now, since there are quite a few complaints on this thread.
I've ordered the clear version and I'll add to this thread once I get it (if people want me to), although I obviously don't have an iPad yet.

Neil.

I've decided to go with the Belkin Grip Vue. The Switcheasy looks nice but it seems too much of a lottery as to whether you'll get a defective or damaged unit or not - there are a few videos on YouTube which show the case with hairline cracks on arrival.

Plus, the rigid plastic form may protective the back of the iPad from getting scratched, but the case itself looks like it would show scratches on it, and there is probably further risk of it cracking or getting damaged in some way. The Belkin, being more like tupperware I think, can probably absorb more damage and not show it.

Any opinions or reports of the nude scratching the back of the actual iPad? I've read a few reports of this for the iPhone and was wondering if anyone had experiences with the iPad or is this an abnormal phenomenon?

Thanks...
