I asked about the loose top fit, and Switcheasy sent me this (I have a wifi iPad) ----

Dear Jennifer,

We made a mistake and sent you the WIFI case which is slightly different than the 3G iPad model, which is yet to be released. There is a slight difference between the 2 cover, but enough to make a noticeable squicking sound ! Really Sorry! The top portion of the iPad where the antenna is located, is slightly different on the 3G model, so we will have to send you the 3G cover to eliminate the noise. That is the only way. So there is nothing wrong with the current cover you have, it is just a wrong cover for your iPad.

No need to send back the Wifi cover either. Welcome to use it or discard it (perhaps pass it as alone to a Wifi user, who deserve a well made product : )
Please tolerate the noise in the mean time until we release the 3G cover that fits perfectly! Currently in testing. We promise it will fit wonderfully. Testing is about 10 more days. All Switcheasy product enjoy a 2 year warranty due to our extensive testing procedure so you can purchase anything we create with confident. Knowing it will last : )

But If you don't want to put up with the noise, we totally understand and happy to issue you a refund. That is not a problem. Let us know either way. Once again sorry for the inconvenience we caused.

English isn't their first language, so pretty good English really.....better than my German.

Then i would expect them to have someone who knows english on the payroll. The english parts of their site are not garbled.

I tried the Belkin Grip, and now I am using the Nude.

Both are good, but I returned the Belkin Grip because it takes a little time to get it in and out of the case, and I want the flexibility of getting it in and out quickly. I can easily get the iPad in and out of the Nude, and that is why I prefer it.

Hm thanks.. Think I'll go for the Belkin Grip. I'll only be using this when travelling (Not many times) and will leave it on when I'm on holiday.

After sending them pictures of my loose on top White NUDE, they sent me the same standard email:

..even though I mentioned in my email that I have the Wi-Fi version and you can see it from the pictures I sent as well.

I hate that I'm hearing all the bad things about this case, but it's got to be a bad batch floating around. I've not have any issues other than maybe the edges being rough or in other words "not finished". I think this case is awesome! Check out my review on YouTube.

switcheasy is good...

I just emailed them my NUDE ultra-clear case issues yesterday. Today I got their email with tracking code shipment. They even don't need the case return. Nice...

Just wanted to say that I got the same email. I ordered the case and literally minutes later came upon the issues mentioned in this thread. I emailed them to attempt to cancel my order but it had already shipped (!). They will be sending me the wifi case once it is released at no charge.

Seems like the email I got is a little different:

Dear Customer,

As we are getting deeper in our investigation since several complains were made:

The noise is due the 3G antenna being installed on the plain iPad
Frame to have irregularities.
Latest finding is that not all iPads suffer from this. In our surprise
the same case taken off from one iPad with complains acting perfectly
normal on other iPad, which is mostly a WiFi unit

Happy to send you a new Nude™ iPad when we are done with testing at no
cost to you if you can bare the squicking noise in the mean time, or
if you prefer we can issue you a refund so you could go with a
different brand. *We
understand. Your satisfaction is our top priority either way.

Our Nude™ is one of the thinnest case on the market now, and the iPad
large surface is make this very slight irregularity to be a very noticeable one!

Thank You

They're pretty nice! It was a bit difficult to put on but I made it work with some tape.

am i missing something here? you purchased a product and you needed to tape to make it work?

i feel like the product shouldn't need tape to work right.

Hes talking about the screen protector
I suspect the tape is used when applying the screen protector to get it in the right place

Sorry if my question has already been answered. Just not going to read ten pages of replys in this thread to find it, so here it goes.

I have a protective skin on the back of my iPad. Will this case fit over it?

Just got mine today and yes, it does fit.

My bad you're right. Just reread it. Thanks.

Love this case!

In one box you get

Case
4 port plugs
Screen Overlay
Microfiber
Squeegee
2 Stands

Placed an order for a white case.

Mine arrived today too, I bought the iPod Touch 2G Nude and the iPad Nude, but it turns out they sent me the wrong color for the iPad one. I got black instead of clear. Just sent them an email about it, I wonder if they'll just send me a new one, or would I have to return this?

Just got an email from them:

Send a picture attachment of the item you have received and the USPS Shipping Label.
After we receive the picture, we will ship the correct item immediately after it has been verified by our Shipping Department.
A tracking number will be emailed to you by stamps.com once your item is processed and ready to be shipped.

If we need the item back, we will provide you with one prepaid USPS shipping label so that you can send the incorrect item back to us free-of-charge.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Switcheasy Team

Seems kinda odd that I have to send them pictures. But I guess some people might fraud them into giving them a free one.
