I swear this is such an addiction.

I already own the incase neopreen plus sleeve, the marware eco-vue leather folio... and I WANT to buy the Speck CandyShell and now this one. WTF do I need with all these. I still want them though. Tell me I'm not alone here. :p

I don't see why it wouldn't, its got a cut out around the dock connector...

Anyone else bothered by the fact that the hole in the screen protector is not centered with the home button? ;)

LOL! You are not alone. ;)

Just FYI... the order I placed yesterday was just refunded with no explanation. I'm assuming they aren't shipping to Canada but I've emailed them to see what the deal is.

Just ordered the clear. Almost got the black. Not a bad price for all that you get with it. I wonder if the screen protector is any good. Ordered it Sat. about 12 noon and got an e-mail about 1pm saying that it's in the mail with a tracking number. Pretty fast.

Now I'm trying to figure out what bag or sleeve to get for transport. I like the Fossil leather sleeve but I hear it's a tight fit even for a naked iPad. Maybe I can break it in. The Nude is only 1mm thick.

Ordered mine the day of release and it came in the mail just now (ultra clear). I'll be filming 2 videos and posting the link today.

can you give us a quick summary now so we don't have to wait for the full video?

I may have found a replacement to my Belkin Grip Vue and I love that case. This thing is ultra light, comes packed with extras, easy to get on and looks awesome! I'm processing the videos now.

I'll be interested to see how it fairs after a week of use. I want to see if it shows scratches, etc... note it does not cover the bezel so don't expect that with this case.

I just tested the camera connection kit with it and it fits. No idea on the dock as I do not own it nor plan to get it.

Right now I am very tempted to get another color to compare.

Check out my thread I just started on the SwitchEasy as it includes the link to both videos I shot: https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=9811664#post9811664

SwitchEasy NUDE Case for iPad, got it today & here are my Vvdeo reviews

Hey everyone,

I ordered the SwitchEasy NUDE Ultra Clear case and to my surprise it arrived today. I am VERY impressed with this case and all the extras it comes with. I am very tempted to buy another one in one of the many colors they offer.

The case works with the iPad Camera Kit. I can not comment on if it works with the dock as I do not own it nor do I plan to.

I quickly shot two videos to share. PLEASE NOTE: These videos are still processing on YouTube so the HD feed may not yet be available and the quality might look bad. If it does try again later and try the HD feed when its done processing.

Video #1 is the video where I show you the contents that it comes with and it can be found here:

Video #2 is where I show the NUDE case on the iPad and it can be found here:

Anyone know if I can edit the thread title? I noticed in my haste I spelled Video wrong. If a mod is reading this could you edit the title please?

Actually, I went ahead and merged this with numerous other threads on this same product. We appreciate you using existing threads, especially on topics like accessories or applications, to cut down on the amount of duplicate posting that occurs with the same discussion taking place in eight or nine different places....

Sold.

Great videos, thanks. Showed me what I needed to know to buy it. For the money it's a great deal. Hopefully it will hold up.

I'm looking for the thinnest case out there to fit into the Fossil sleeve. Which I'm told is tight even for a naked iPad. But leather breaks in so I might get away with it. Love that leather.

For the money I might buy a black one also to switch off. Can't hurt to have a couple of extra stands lying around. That way I can leave one in another room and at work.

I wonder if the stand will also work in a low position for typing?

Unless I am totally missing something I think the stand only works in one position and thats the one I showed in the video.

For the $29 that SwitchEasy is asking for this case it's an absolute steal. I really did not think I would prefer this over the Belkin Grip Vue that I had been using but once I got it on I can tell you it's not coming off unless I buy a colored version of it (which I am very tempted to do).

The case only adds 1mm to the iPad and it is definitely smaller than the belkin grip vue. My Belkin would not fit in the Waterfield Ultimate Sleeve but the SwitchEasy does. Its also worth noting that my belkin would not fit the iPad camera kit but the SwitchEasy does.

Like I have mentioned elsewhere, this will rival the incipio feather due to it's quality and cost. For those of you wanting the closest thing to nothing on your iPad but still a level of protection this is the way to go, just don't expect bezel protection.

A quick question for you owners out there.

Does the cover snap on securely? Is there any play or does it feel like a snug fit? It's obviously too early to tell, but my biggest concern is that'll it loosen and lose its tightness around the corners over time. I'd hate to have a clicking noise every time I pick up and set down the iPad.

Thanks! :apple:

I am a novice to protectors, but can someone explain to me exactly what level of protection a 1mm piece of plastic offers?

People complain that bezels are uncovered, etc... but what is this plastic protecting from? I guess scratches?

@zub3qin hard cases with a thickness of 1mm or less (even 0,5mm) offer some basic protection against scratches or small bumps. If you're looking for some serious protection you should investigate hybrid products like the Speck CandyShell or the OtterBox Commuter series. Those cases are made by a mix of hard (outside) and soft (inside) plastic. A few of them offer protection caps for the headphone jack and dock connector, too :)
