Switching from iPhone 7 to 7 plus

Uh, strategy? No. I was just pointing out how you stated the Plus model was to large for you in the previous thread cited and here you are stating the Plus model is screen is the right size for you now. Again, it was just an observation based off your contradiction for two threads.

Went from 6 to 7 plus, and have zero regrets.

The plus has a noticeable weight to it in comparison to the smaller phone (even more so when you add the case), but that goes away with time.

The battery life and screen real estate are worth the trade off in weight and size. Holding the regular size phone makes it feel ridiculously small now.

You do lose some one handed functionality, but whatever. I believe I will be going plus all the way now.

i ordered my 7 plus black on sunday! i was kind of scared i got the wrong color but after seeing the black with yours i know i made the right decision i love the black for iphone 7 plus hopefully it will be here sometime this week

You'll definitely love the 7+ matte black.
I am hoping that you receive your phone in an earlier date, crossing my fingers for you to enjoy your phone soon. Have you decided which case to use?

Have the 7 but my wife has the 7 plus. I've been comparing and will go to that size with the next iPhone. I really like the larger screen and the camera on it is really great.

right now i just ordered a commuter otterbox and a sonix case. really haven't had one that i really like yet

I wear skinny jeans, and honestly putting the phone in my pockets isn't an issue.
I could see it becoming an issue if you had a chunky case to go with it, but for me it's a non factor.

luckily i wear scrubs for work so that wont be an issue. Most of the time i usually just carry my phone anyways instead of sticking it in my back pocket. but i tried my friends and so far it did fit in my back pocket. I am really tiny a 5'0 so i hope i can get used to the size quick

Also, go with a slim case too. I recommend the caudabe veil xt in stealth black. Same look and feel as the matte black, best case I've ever had since the first iPhone.

im on the device payment plan for verizon i basically had to pay half of the phone off ($300) to upgrade but they receive the phone back i do not get to keep it.

Guess I'm one of the few that went the other way. Had 6 then 6+ then 6S+ and now regular 7. Liked the big screen but the experience was never anywhere near as good as using an iPad. And I got tired of dealing with the larger size after a few years. Now that the 4.7" has better battery life and OIS in the camera, the decision to go smaller was much easier. I am sometimes jealous of the camera on the 7+, but not enough to deal with the larger size day to day. I've got my iPad for when I want a bigger screen.

Went from the 7 to the plus and I'm happy with it. I had a 6/6S plus for a while and made the switch to the smaller device half a year ago. While I enjoyed it, I think the plus size is more suited for me. It's easier to type on and I can use the device with one hand.

I also came from 5/5s. Having small hands, the 7+ is not a problem with the Word Flow app. Now I can type and hold the phone with just one hand.

I went from a 6 to 7+.
I do not regret it, it takes a few days to adjust but I don't think I could go back to the standard size now. That said, I do wish the Plus model gave you more screen real estate (it does a little), rather than just making everything bigger.

If Apple hadn't come out with the 6 Plus, I was seriously considering switching to Android to get a bigger phone. I bought the 6 Plus, and I now have the 7 Plus. I have no desire to go back to a smaller phone. My wife has the 7, and I've used it and found that I still don't like the smaller size. More of everything on the bigger screen is great. I don't wear skinny jeans, but the Plus fits comfortably in the pocket of my slacks, jeans, and shorts. I carry the Plus in my left front pocket when I'm running, and I have no problems or discomfort.

I tried switching and went back to the regular size. It's going to be a very personal decision. I carry my phone in my front pocket and the Plus size was just too big for comfort for me. YMMV.

I 100% agree with this. The main deterrent is the loss of some one handed functionality but all other benefits outweigh it by far. Not sure I'll ever go with a small phone again.

I just got a matte black 7+. Honestly, the size isn't that big of a deal, texting is actually easier and I don't have big hands. You'll get used to it real quick.

What I did was sold my 7 locally for $650 and bought a used 7+ In excellent condition for $700 that same day.

I got a 7 on launch day, but I decided to upgrade to a 7+ about five days ago because I really wanted the dual cameras. I always preferred the smaller phones for pockabilty and single-handed usage, but I'm actually adjusting to the size pretty well and the camera and battery life are awesome. I'm glad I upgraded.

Bought a jet black 7+ three days ago(taking advantage of the holiday return policy; return date of January 8th) lets see if I can get used to the bigger phone by using it for a whole month instead of the usual 14 days return policy. It's definitely something to get used to coming from the 6s...loving the camara so far but not much else.
