or vice versaThis is wonderful news since Sprint doesn't offer much for T-Mobile customers.
Why does everyone hate Sprint so much?
Switch to Sprint and you’d see why, Sprint has a network that is moving at a snails pace from 2009.
I have a coworker who curses their name every day. Even when her phone says she has nearly full reception, she can still barely make calls and constantly experiences dropped calls. I can have one bar of Verizon LTE and still have speeds 10x hers when she has five bars on Sprint. Her excuse every time ask her why she doesn’t just switch is that everyone else is too expensive. My reply is always, “do you want a phone that works?” She’s paying “less” for service that doesn’t even work half the time. Why does everyone hate Sprint so much?
Well well well. Last I heard was they were bleeding cash to obtain subs. We’ll see if they can keep the mojo.

Fixed it for you.Sprint will instead aim to "quietly fade away" in the wireless industry

HOORAY x1000000000000!!!!
I'm so glad T-Mobile decided they didn't want the garbage of the cellular industry.

Why do you think it would have created a discount carrier? If the combined company could have put together a network with the extensive coverage of AT&T or Verizon, they probably would have raised prices. It’s a business, not a charity. One of the few mergers I was excited about; would have created a good discount carrier with a a good network
I guess they’ll just have to do it on their own, or fail
"last I heard" - must have been a long time ago. They've been doing great for a long time, now.
Correct and I’d think Sprint would be the first to fail. One of the few mergers I was excited about; would have created a good discount carrier with a a good network

I think the hate comes from people who legitimately have unusable service wherever they live. I have TMO and we drove cross country. Practically anyone in Utah would be miserable (as of two summers ago) because we had zero reception, and when we did, we were roaming on ATT. That is just one example. Living in New England I could ask what the hate for TMO is about. It all depends where you live. And Spring is the weakest link. Giving away a years worth of service isn't a result of bad marketing. It's a result of being unable to KEEP subs.I switched to Sprint because they’re offering unlimited free for a year if you BYOD. I have unlimited everything and just pay $3 a month for required taxes.
There are some ways they were a downgrade from Verizon - for example, Verizon had VoLTE here but Sprint does not (they only have LTE).
That being said, I have been with Sprint since June and no major problems or noticeable difference in coverage. I think the hate comes in part just because Sprint doesn’t seem to be marketing it self well.
TMO was that bad as recetnyl as 4-5 years ago too. They just actively did ( and continue to do) something about it.this is kind of old, but i used to walk down a major street in NYC with a sprint blackberry and lose signal all the time.
