I really wish the media would call t-mobile out on this. They are basically getting away with this... How do they not know what they are doing? They have to know how many iPhone 6/plus they were getting. like okay 100,000 6's and 100,000 6 plus'. Then once pre-orders came in couldn't they tick them off or some **** and given accurate delivery dates? I bet everyone got a estimated date of 9/20. Like WTF.

what info did they ask to order one?

No info. Just plain out told her id like to order that tmobile router. She's like ok and just asked for number to text ones It ships out and if I want to pay extra for fast shipping.

I got the router free ( no $25 deposit) and free shipping which is 5-7 days. Not really in a rush after all this for the router lol.

I just want my iphone shipped and get the tracking number!!!

Either everyone is wrong about what being charged means or I am in the first batch despite ordering Saturday night (read: charges are inconsistent and say nothing reliable about when to expect your order)

If you ordered an iPhone 6, and not 6+, then I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm so sick of this whole thing. No charge, backordered when calling the robot lady. I'm just gonna stop worrying about it today. It's taking up too much energy

Yeah for personal and health reasons it's probably best to just give it a bit of a rest even though it's so tough!

There've been plenty of articles an short clips about how people are clamoring for the phone and hitting bottlenecks, from all carriers and apple itself, why would it single out Tmobile? Everyone's going to 'get away with it' because it's really down to Apple never putting out enough phones to meet demand. This is Tmo's first go at preordering on this scale and it's really doing no worse than the other carriers.

The original estimated dates should never have been taken seriously anyway as no carrier had received any stock yet. It was a matter of coding in the systems and they erased it within a day or two, it wasn't a deliberate attempt to mislead.

It's a free 802.11ac router.

And if I already have a pair of Apple 802.11ac Airport Extreme's connected to a Linux Box acting as a gateway what does this gain me? I can do QOS on my Linux gateway if I really want to (probably not necessary with the BW I have)

Just got off the phone with a Tmobile rep.

In Regards to the PreAuths:

TMobile will pre-auth your account to keep pre-order funds open. Pre-Auths automatically post to your account every 72 hours until your phone arrives.

The reason why the amounts are different is because the bank will decline pre-authorizations that are of the same amount.

Just got off the phone with CS, she said that since I pre-ordered on the 12th, shipping confirmation w/tracking number should be sent within the next 24 hours - and if not to call them back, because they should be sent by then.

I ordered the 6, however plenty of people who ordered the same color/capacity on Friday haven't been charged yet. I am still on "backordered" status, while some of them have Robot Lady ETAs. Idk why anyone would expect an already tremendously inconsistent process to suddenly be consistent for charging protocols alone

FWIW... called customer service.

I ordered via phone 2 new lines for a new family plan on day 1.

1) iphone 6+ 128gb gold
2) iphone 6 64gb grey

I was charged twice (once day of order and again yesterday).

She said they are preparing for shipment and I will get the tracking # by noon tomorrow.

Believable.. who knows..

What time / time zone did you order on "Day 1"?

No way that is correct.

Status

My Status online says Being Processed and that is the same info i got from Robot lady. I have been charged in full already and wondering if that is good news??

Thanks Henry

How so? It makes sense doesn't it? People who preordered on Friday get charged again on Tuesday (3 business days after their transaction is placed). It also explains why there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to how t mobile is assigning people their phones (people who ordered later getting their orders pre authed before people who ordered earlier, etc.)

You were flat out lied to.

So the pre authorizations really don't mean we have our phones then.. I guess when it's posted and not pending, then I can rejoice.

Hey folks. Just called 611 to order the router--again, its free until the 24th so thats nice. While I had the helpful CS person on the line I asked about my iPhone order. She gave me the 1-4 week line; and then looked up my order. The first order she pulled up was one of the online orders I had attempted but was unable to complete, and she said that order had a estimated delivery date of 9/25.

When I gave her the correct order number for the order that I was charged for and that I did over the phone at 4:50 PDT she said it was showing as backordered but that the status should update tomorrow of Friday.

Submitted order on 9/12, 9:15 AM CST, via website. iPhone 6 Plus 64gb Space Gray. Still no charge and no updates since it went to backorder status on 9/13.
