Are you kidding me? I ordered two devices at 10AM on Friday via JUMP! and I'm pushed right back? Wow

Did you get 128GB 6+ phones? In gold? I don't know how they prioritize this. I did do a lookup based on my T-Mobile number, country, and zip and found this via UPS. I ordered ground shipping:

Someone call customer support and make sure these are the real deal. Now I'm paranoid mine won't show up on Friday despite receiving a text.

Then again, why would I believe customer support after what's happe this week
 
It looks to me that if you got the text message that says your "iPhone will be delivered the 22nd-30th" than your phone order wasn't fully prioritized, but if you got the "send you estimated delivery timing in the next 1 to 2 days" then you have most likely been prioritized, and should expect your phone to come on the 19th.

I'm so pissed about the randomness of Friday delivery. There doesn't seem to be ANY rhyme or reason to it. Considering leaving Tmobile because of this.

I wouldn't say it's justified to leave T-Mobile because you don't understand the inner workings of their shipping/order process.

You guys!!! This is too upsetting. On Friday they told me I can only Pre-order online via JUMP and then that d didn't work, then I had to show up at a store, they told me to go online... Then I called and they said it had to be online orders... It finally worked at 12PM PST and got my order and now only the people who got it over the phone have iPhones shipping on FRIDAY? WAAAAAAA I don't even have a tracking number. What about the CEOs promise to prioritize JUMP customers?
 
If I remember correctly, @tmobilehelp and @tmobile said shipping info would be available today or tomorrow at the latest. I don't think they meant they would send a text out. I think the meant they would send out emails with actual tracking numbers.

Don't know why it's silly. I don't think it's unreasonable for tmobile to communicate what they're doing better than they have. I would expect that orders would go out in the order they were received, and they're clearly not. At the very least, they should communicate why they're going out in a different order (geography, stock levels on certain types, random number generator, picking numbers out of a hat, whatever).

Look, I know it's just a phone, but we're all in this thread having some fun obsessing over them. Similarly, if you were in line at an amusement park, how would you feel if the park just randomly let other people in before you?

Agreed... we are all just trying to have a good time here by telling our issues and helping each other out. I can also understand how frustrating this situation can be for some people, so telling someone to cry more isn't helpful at all to anyone.
 
anyone know why tmobile decided to make two different emails with the same message? one says delivery within the next two days and another says friday delivery... whats also confusing is that the people in the first batch who've gotten the latter message have ordered it later than the people who've ordered the phone earlier...

Did you receive both of those?
 
I havent received anything from TMO, text or email. Only two seperate packages from tmobile for delivery tomorrow. i had to seperate iphone 6 orders. When i called TMO on a separate issue i asked about my iphones and the lady was telling me they had backordered my iphones for 4-6 weeks. She even asked me if the last agent had expalined the back order! I told her the last agent said they go out friday! And added please explain why UPS says I have two shipments coming from TMO? She really couldnt, poor girl. I would hate to be working in that call center!!

It's perfectly justified to leave because of poor communication with your customers. It's not the fact people aren't getting their phones. It's the inconsistent communication. Communication makes great companies. Everything else is just fluff.

Why do you think everyone hates Comcast? Random **** on your bill. Their product is usually great, but their customer service is terrible.
 
i guess i can relax or so about this i got some information. i just hope it comes next week and not the 30 which its suppose to be here between 22 and the 30 i guess cause i got ground shipping and thats 4-7 days right ? well im okay for now hoping the tracking info soon follows if it is ground it should be coming soon i suppose like tomorrow or friday i guess

WHAT THE **** TMOBILE...I ordered via JUMP at 9:07AM PDT on the 12th. My email...22nd to 30th. Seriously...they're picking numbers at ****ing random.
 
Yeah. So when we ordered our phones the texts we are receiving were set to be sent automatically. Meaning they weren't placed and sent today. They were placed on the day we ordered and set to send today.

that seems incredibly unlikely, I'm more likely to believe the text than one of the customer support people just because they rarely know much more than we do
 
One 64GB 6+ SG, one 16GB 6+ Gold

Those were likely the most popular models to purchase. I recall getting an iPhone 4s way-back-when and couldn't find a white 32GB for the longest time. I chose the 128GB at random since I didn't think too many would get it in Gold.

Nah. I ordered at 11:30 PDT/2:30 EDT and got the Friday message. I believe the 1-2 days message means that you're towards the bottom of the barrel, and you'll get a shipment update once T-Mobile figures out when their next unallocated shipment will arrive.
