anyone know why tmobile decided to make two different emails with the same message? one says delivery within the next two days and another says friday delivery... whats also confusing is that the people in the first batch who've gotten the latter message have ordered it later than the people who've ordered the phone earlier...

Read the second one again. It says they'll send you a status update in the next 1-2 days. That's not a delivery estimate.

Yeah... and why did we need to know he was a non-american rep? How could he/she even know, it's not like all Americans don't have an accent. As an ex customer service rep with Apple, I really sympathize with these people as I am sure a lot of customers are getting agitated with them. It's not like they are trying not to help you, but some reps can be more frustrating to deal with than others.

Just got the 9/22-9/30 email, and robo-dame tells me 'backordered'... card has new preauth.

Wat do?
 
I wouldn't say it's justified to leave T-Mobile because you don't understand the inner workings of their shipping/order process.

Their shipping/order process is horrible. I think thats definitely a reason to consider leaving.
 
Anyone else have a package size of 0.6 lbs? I got the confirm about me getting my 6 plus on Friday, but nothing about the 6 i ordered for my wife. Hopeful,y it actually comes Thursday as UPS says :)

Well, now that other carriers are stepping up with better/cheaper plans (and yes, I credit tmobile for applying pressure), I don't see any reason to stay with them and their inferior coverage if they're going to treat customers like this. This whole "JUMP customers get priority" thing is ridiculous - I get that those delayed by a glitch should be able to get a boost, but every one of them? I wasn't told that JUMP had any of these benefits when I signed up, or I would've chosen JUMP.

I'm not asking for a friday-guarantee, I'd be okay with even the 9/22-9/30 window, or really even beyond, but the lack of consistent communication is what's getting to me. Either send nothing or be consistent.
 
You should contact CS and be very persistent on why don't you have a shipment confirmation, or any other order confirmations yet.

I just spoke to the rudest, and most unhelpful supervisor who told me there was nothing he can do. I said I'll leave t-mobile and he didnt care. Ridic

Man, I would have chose 128gb instead of 64gb if it meant getting it on Friday. I ordered like 12 hours before you. Bummed out! But hey, good for you :D

I too am a JUMP! Customer and ordered 9/12 I'll still be patient. I still have yet to be charged. Hmmm
 
Preordered the 6+ the second it was available online via a Jump upgrade, and got the 6+ 64gb with overnight priority shipping (or whatever that technical term is through UPS). Received the EIP and it was signed ASAP.

Online it just says my order is backordered with no shipping date. Called t-mobile and they said they couldn't find anything with my order number and I haven't received any charges through my bank account. Getting really anxious that my order might not have actually gone through... :mad:

Has anyone actually had this situation and got it resolved? I'm stumped, and don't want to yell at anymore poor t-mobile employees on the phone.

Same here, except my card has been charged. They transferred me to several people to find the order at some point. but no tracking or dates promised.

And accomplish what? Wasting his time and CS's time? CS has no impact on your order getting shipped and are clearly in the dark with all the ridiculous responses they are giving to customers. He should wait until Thursday afternoon or Friday where CS can probably accomplish more than just twiddling their thumbs.
 
FYI to new Tmobile users. It seems your order status might say your order is still placed and Tmobile is emailing you if you're getting your iPhone. I just got emailed saying my iPhone should be here on Friday (their words) and they'll email me shipping info "shortly". Basically check your inbox. It seems that order status page is really slow to update. I've also have had the full price of my down pmt charged on my acnt since last friday, it dropped off yesterday for a hot minute and was put back on late at night. I ordered at 5:06AM pacific time.

I had no $1 auths and my card was charged in full from the start. I'm thinking if you had a charge put on last night or it stayed on in full since friday you should be getting an iphone right quick!

Don't know why it's silly. I don't think it's unreasonable for tmobile to communicate what they're doing better than they have. I would expect that orders would go out in the order they were received, and they're clearly not. At the very least, they should communicate why they're going out in a different order (geography, stock levels on certain types, random number generator, picking numbers out of a hat, whatever).

Look, I know it's just a phone, but we're all in this thread having some fun obsessing over them. Similarly, if you were in line at an amusement park, how would you feel if the park just randomly let other people in before you?

Take a few minutes to read the AT&T and. Verizon threads. Good luck with one of them communicatin better. These are large companies with millions of customers and you are not the center of their universe. Sorry to be harsh but the level of self absorption is getting to be nuts around here. These people probably had the most insane time at work ever. Give them some slack. I'm sure they are doing all they can to get the phone over to you and the rest of us as quickly as possible.

That's the weight of one 6+ leather case that I'm getting tomorrow from Apple. Check the origin of the package; if it has Apple in the name then it's an Apple case.

Sucks, sorry that happened... but I do think that CS is almost completely in the dark, at least for some orders. I am sure he was very rude, but he prob has to talk to a bunch of people with the same questions. Someone needs to fix this mess up quick.

Totally agree. Spent all night refreshing all tmobile pages and trying to get the phone to show up, then trying to get the payment through. Had multiple tabs open and kept trying. Finally gave up online and called it in and ordered 30 min after you. All that effort and still not able to get it on launch.
