I think the most logical answer is: They're not. If I were a shipping department, I would just try to get my supply out as fast as possible (if I didn't know any better).

We all know the CS department isn't organized. Do we somehow expect the shipping and fulfillment departments to be organized?

Not a lot of rhyme or reason or logic here, but this is the worst pre-order I've ever seen. I have done ATT, VZ, and Apple direct in the past and all delivered day of with relatively little hassle.
 
anyone who can look up their ship label on UPS use overnight delivery?

I was feeling so good when I got the text saying I'd get it Friday, now I'm back to feeling like I won't get it Friday because of no shipping label.

So my credit card T-Mobile charged me $266.45 on Monday. Today there was a charge from T-Mobile for $243.34 ... anyone else double charged?? I only ordered 1 phone.

You will be fine. Tmo has till the end of the day tomorrow to ship them out.
 
my first

first time post! and first time iphone owner!

website was down for me all of friday, i could not place the order, tried multiple computers, browsers and nada... i was able to order around 3pm on saturday, using jump. 6+ 64gb space gray. got email and text earlier this afternoon saying phone will be delivered on friday. havent gotten charged tho, and still no tracking number

I did order with overnight delivery. I certainly hope you are right, and I will see my shipping label by tonight/tomorrow. If I get an email two days before launch day saying I will get it 9/19, I expect to get it 9/19.
 
Executive said that the emails about friday and texts are correct. They started recieving inventory and orders are being fufilled and shipped
 
T-Mobile Lied to me and stuck it in my bunghole

T-Mobile canceled my orders and lied about it!

Got up at 2:45 am (ET) to preorder 2 iPhones. T-mobile site, as you all know, didn't even have an iPhone 6 orders until after CS lined opened at 6 am (ET) and someone realized they had f-ed up and not flipped the order switch.

My order went through at 7:10am (ET) -- 4:10 Pacific -- for two iPhones.

Today I get a text and email saying my order was cancelled because the payment was declined.

I called the bank, and the bank manager investigated. It turns out that T-Mobile lied to me. The charge was never declined. They are inept and immoral. John Legere talks crap about the other carries, but his company shi*t their pants on this preorder. I was switching 4 lines from Verizon for this order. I am not going to do it at this point.

TLDR: Short TMUS Stock

Back ordered 9/14
Iphone 6+ 16 GB silver
Charged 9/17
No tracking info yet

They charged for ground shipping and as noted previously, all orders are getting upgraded shipping, so that's awesome!

Called 6 representative & said all phones ship Friday so idk

Nice. Hopefully I'll see my label tomorrow. Til then, time to sop bugging you guys. You all have been awesome!
