I'm gonna guess it means they are being shipped out on the morning. Their packaged up and just waiting for ups to pick up. At least I hope.
One relevant detail I left out of my really long post: I had paid for Next Day Air, so expected if my order would ship on 9/19 that it would arrive 9/22, instead of "between 9/22 and 9/30", so that was the crux of my complaint.
My order status has changed to "Pre-Order" with a pink check mark.
Still Backordered status as of 9/17 at 3:21 and no shipping/delivery date and I paid for next day shipping

Same here i got through at 645 PM CT changed to pre-order I got a text for 9-22 to 9/30 as long as it's before my long weekend off which is on the 27th .-.
If I don't have tracking by tomorrow, guess I'll have to line up despite getting Friday text. We'll see, tomorrow's going to be interesting, to say the least
Yeah I have UPS My Choice and they send me emails when something is supposed to go to my house.

Called one last time. Guy told me my order no longer show backordered and that it showed submitted. He said the orders with this tag usually ship within 24 hours and that if I didn't have tracking info by tomorrow at this time tomorrow to call back. Reason I have to call is that its a new line on an already existing account. This keeps me from using https://account.my.t-mobile.com/checkorder.forward.html and the https://account.my.t-mobile.com/myphone/checkorder.html websites. I have to use this which gives me absolutely no information except for order placed:

did you order a router? mines changed to 9/26 after I ordered the router, which is the date the agent gave me for the router's delivery.
I have my Friday text and email. I have UPS trk # for my iPhone 6 16gb space grey.
What time did you order? And thru what means did you order and was it thru jump?
If it changed from backordered or preordered to that then it may mean that it will ship soon.
