Its seriously time to stop calling CS, they really do not know ****. I'm serious, you're only setting yourself up for dissapointment.
I mean, a rep told me my phone will ship in 4-8 weeks because its 128GB and blah blah blah...yet a label was created for me and I was a very early order. Yet I was told, FOUR TO EIGHT WEEKS.
Just stop calling them and do your own research. They really are of no help.

Was promised over, and over, and over again that I would have the device in my hand on 9/19. After all that is what pre-orders are for correct?

Mine just changed from preorder, to order processing and my card was charged
So i just got off the phone with CS, rep was unhelpful but i asked to be transferred to her Supervisor and well, he was 100% better lol. We even had a few laughs when he told me that reps were essentially in the dark, and knew just as much as we did. He told me that my Order Status online shouldn't be changing, he checked on his end and he saw for himself that it went from Order Status: backordered to Order Status: Pre-order within a few minutes. He said not too look into it too much, but that it was a semi-good sign that indeed there is a chance i could be getting it on Friday. He said my chances would become bigger, as more and more people's orders get cancelled due to insufficient funds - because my order would fill in their spots asap. Overall I am bummed that after all the hours spent talking to reps (most giving me false information.. this is confirmed from a supervisor!) I still only have a chance to get it on Friday.
He also said to look more into the Order History and watch for it to change from Backordered to Fulfilled!

BTW idk if you've been keeping up but the email we got about the 1-2 days some guy who ordered yesterday got it which makes me upset/depressed to think I'm jumbled up with that group and I ordered so damn early on pre order day
