Was promised over, and over, and over again that I would have the device in my hand on 9/19. After all that is what pre-orders are for correct?

This is really unbelievable. I placed my order literally within moments of the IPhone 6 going live on t-mobile.com. I spoke to a few CS reps (I don't know why, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment) and they tried to tell me "well... pre-orders started at Midnight, and maybe the others that you see that are getting their's on Friday ordered before you or are Jump! customers" and yada, yada, yada. "You order must be in the second batch" SECOND BATCH!!! I was among the first to get an order through.

I'm hoping that this is just a screwup and they are going to ship my phone tomorrow, but I'm losing hope. I guess I will now probably stand in line at the Apple store and buy a full price phone and return it when my order gets here, if it ever does.

oh this gives me great hope!
 
Well, I'm taking the night off. I have a text for Friday delivery so my phone should be at my house Friday. Hopefully. HOpefully I'll have a tracking number soon. Good night all, hope everyone gets theirs soon!
 
Too much confusion for me. I think I'll go to sleep and wake up around 3:15AM and see if there is another update like they did with the backorder 9/17.

Did you buy it out right (Apple site) or via T-Mobile website?
 
Well my range fits right with the ETA I was originally given and is still on the non-"Alerts" tracking page. At least until Friday, we gotta just trust people shipping the phone, not additional speculation.

So does mine, thats why I think they were queued up alerts. When I was putting in my order I got the date 9/22 at the end. My text says 9/22-9/30. Anybody's say something different from when they put in the order and got the date at the end before submitting? Not the estimate when checking the order.
 
Me too, except I got the Friday email and text as well. Mysterious 3.4lb package lol

Thats just the default weight T-Mobile reported when mass creating the labels.. UPS requires a weight be entered and T-mo just errors on the heavy.. I didn't order router either and I get 3.4lbs on the label.

UPS actually weighs each package and corrects it when received.

I'm in a similar situation: Even though I ordered via JUMP later than you, at the time I ordered web site said it would ship 9/19, paid for Next Day Air assuming it would arrive EXACTLY on 9/22, but then got the same text as you.

I called to clarify and after literally over two hours of waiting and talking to multiple people they said they adjusted my order so it'll definitely arrive on time. Now I just have to wait and see if that's the case.
 
Its seriously time to stop calling CS, they really do not know ****. I'm serious, you're only setting yourself up for dissapointment.

I mean, a rep told me my phone will ship in 4-8 weeks because its 128GB and blah blah blah...yet a label was created for me and I was a very early order. Yet I was told, FOUR TO EIGHT WEEKS.

Just stop calling them and do your own research. They really are of no help.

Thanks, and I hope you do indeed get your phone on Friday. Here's hoping that regardless of delivery date a few weeks from now we're all happily using our new iPhones! :)
 
What does "ORDER PLACED" mean??!!!!

I ordered an iPhone 6 + (16GB -Silver) on 9/12 @ 4:51 PST, and paid for overnight shipping ($24.99).

So far, last Saturday, I went into backordered status, then yesterday, again at 3:17:08.

Today, I receive an email which states that I can expect it on 9/22-9/30.

I ordered by phone on 9/12 and am a JUMP! Customer, but ordered it as an upgrade w EIP (non-JUMP! order).

No CC pre-authorization or charge yet!

I am clueless and somewhat anxious.

What does "Order Placed" mean?!!
 
Mine will be here Friday according to T-Mobile but UPS says tomorrow. Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out.

My order status changes from back ordered to preorder... And my credit card was charged full price... Does it mean my phone is going to be shipped? But I got no shipping number

I was quoted 9/19 at the end of checkout. I'm in the same date group as you.
 
Well @TMobileHelp said that the texts are indeed legit, and said we will have tracking numbers shortly. I'm not going to worry about order status or UPS track by reference anymore. By morning, I should have my tracking number!!!
